  1. Agreed. Getting my 19 dialed in and love it. I did find it skied slightly different than my 18. I set it up exactly the same (fin and bindings) but found my sweet spot about 1/16 to 1/8 forward on Bf from my 18. It’s a rocket though!
  2. I have the Vector BOAs on my 18 Senate. Like them a lot and very comfortable. Have the double boots but have also tried the HRT BOA. Depending what your looking for and preference both great options. What size are you. ? I’m Actually selling my Vector BOAs and the HRT. PM me for details
  3. Use my orbit once on our clubs new MasterCraft. Video was unusable due to vibration. What’s the trick?
  4. @jhughes. I’m on a 19 vapor. Also have a senate as a backup and keep mostly at another site. My 18 senate is a 67 but just feels big. Looking for the stability in a slightly smaller package. Also have my nephew who will probably be using it most of the time so the 65 will be perfectly suited for him.
  5. I missed the speed (28-30). Maybe 69. But if you improve quickly and bump up speed the 67 might work. Are you able to demo both. That’s really the best way to know
  6. @horton. What settings are u on? 66? Was on a 18. Sold it and now on the 2019. Started with 29 5/8 2.465 .775 6.940 Wg 9
  7. @ChasingOldDreams From the trend I’m seeing on this thread I’m guessing @brooks would put you on a 67. Then again what do I know. You could probably be happy on either
  8. @brooks, Besides kickass? I’ll have to ride it and find out. ?. Hoping the 65 will have the stability of the 67 with the nimbleness of the Vapor. Can’t wait.
  9. $75 a set? Is that with instruction I hope? If so that on par with everyone else
  10. @BracwMaker Senate is 2/10ths wider. I believe this is 4/10ths wider.
  11. Is there a deep/short or long/shallow for the senate? Have only seen that on the radar site for the Vapor. Can you get away with same numbers ?
  12. I’m so glad I found this thread. 28 has been my mental and physical wall this year. Just can’t figure it out and watching all ages of skiers knock this out like they’re sleeping has been frustrating to say the least. Can usually get 2-3 balls. Completed a couple ugly passes as 32 and 34 then back to square one. Basically destroyed my shoulder with slacks hits and bad form. Glad it’s almost end of season as I need a break. About 130 sets since May so my body is ready for something different like snow ski season. Wealth of good info here that I will take to heart and really work on. Thanks to everyone for passing on your knowledge to a junior but determined as heck new baller. At least I went from a -15/32mph to a -22/34mph skier this year with a best of 2 at -32/34mph. Want -28!
  13. I was wondering the same thing. I see so many black/white cuffs around I was thinking of trying one to compare against my Supershell 2.0
  14. I’m running close to: FD 2.465 FL 6.940 DFT .775 Wg 9 deg Bf 29 5/8 These are #s Rini gave me to try. They are between both suggestions on the Radar site. They work well but like I said will try moving forward on the Bf
  15. It’s normal to size up. Wear size 9 shoe but 10 Vapor boot. And my toes are still at the ends
  16. Thanks. You mean move forward? I’m interested in what you have. Actually I’m running numbers that Matt Rini gave me. They aren’t quite long/narrow or short/deep but 29 5/8 on the front binding. There is a point you go too far and either bury the tip or over compensate and get on the tail even more.
  17. @Horton. Was your initial review a 67? Anyone use the short/deep fin numbers but move Bf closer to 29 5/8s or 29 15/16 on a 66? I struggle with getting over the front of the ski. I know it’s probably all bad form but like to move up further to help out a little bit. Closer to 29 3/4 might be pushing it but I’ll have to experiment and see where I fall on my face I guess.
  18. Have a 2018 66 vapor pro build I’m putting up for sale
  19. Assuming your in a 67? How did size feel?
  20. Looking at numbers the 65 Senate has more surface area than a 66 Vapor so I’m guessing this eliminates the need for 66? Or fills the gap so no need?
  21. I’m looking forward to the 19. I’m dropping a size to the 65 based on advice. Currently on an 18 67” and amazed at the stability, floatation, smoothness, and speed. It feels a little long but can probably just fix that with more DFT. I’m really hoping the 65” still provides all those same feelings. I’m inconsistent and kind of a wild card on my 66 Vapor Pro so if this new Senate is as confidence inspiring as the 18 and sized more correctly for me it will become my primary ski. I currently run about 3-4 balls at -28 off (34mph) with the occasional taste of -32 and think the Sen Lithium is right for my ability. I’ll post up a review when I can. Probably won’t see it until beginning of October. In the mean time I’d love to hear the reviews of others
  22. Looking forward to getting on the new Senate Lithium in the next month
  23. Any comparison to the 2018 Senate yet? The 18 Senate Lithium rode high and was smooth and lightning fast.
  24. Same question. I’m trying to focus on getting forward and staying forward. It gets worse when tired
