  1. @JimOfTheNorth To PM click on the name and it will ring you to page with message button.
  2. I’m 5’7” and 175lbs. I’ll drop that to about 165-170 over winter. I’m on an 18 Vapor Pro which seems to be sized right. I was on a 2017 67” last year. It was ok but the 66 seems more manageable for me. I have a 19 on the way so my 18 is for sale
  3. Will have a mint 2018 67’ Senate Lithium up for grab shortly if anyone is interested. Details to follow
  4. Maybe can’t rear foot slightly. Or the washer under fin block was a substantial change for me. Like almost too much. .030 differential is the sweet spot
  5. I just “had” to order a 65 Senate Lithium until a 65 Senate Pro makes an appearance.....Hello Radar?? Are you listening?? Is this thing on??
  6. To be clear I wouldn’t try to flatten an edge/HO. Was asking the question. I thought i looked at pics and it seemed the bottom of the boot was already significantly flat. On that note I’m going to experiment with the reflex as much as I can. So those with the reflex boot that have done the heat flatten toe mod......if you flatten out the toe does it effect now the toe sits under the bar? Does it now create space or movement requiring a bunch of wrap around the bar to make it snug again? Sorry for so many questions but 2 more. What’s a good starting point for pinning the cuff forward? Though I saw a thread and it suggested about 20 deg? Also I’ve never had a clear answer on why cutting off the top of the cuff helps? Boots are cheap enough to hack up and experiment with so pro just go that route
  7. Been on Reflex Supershell 2.0 for about a year. At the point I want/need to do a few mods I’ve seen on this forum (heat and flatten toe, pin cuff forward, etc). Not sure what cutting the top of cuff will do? I feel I move around a lot on the reflex so pinning cuff forward is going to be first move to get me over the ski more. Anyway, how does the reflex compare to the Edge or HO system. The later seem to have a flat bottom so no need to mod. Issues with flexibility, mobility, response? Most likely stick with my reflex but not opposed to trying something new in the future. What’s the difference with the Edge and HO besides the liner? Experience or thoughts appreciated.
  8. Just getting into -28 and struggling. Best is an ugly 2@-32 trying to get away from -15 and cleaning up my -22s.
  9. The obvious choice is to keep both!
  10. @brooks So at 5’7” 175lbs hoping to get down to 170ish thoughts on 66 vs 67? I’m kind of that inbetween size. My height says 66 but weight I could go either way.
  11. Kind of what I was think. Maybe just add a couple knots to the white loop end where it’s tied off?
  12. How can I adjust a ML slide loop rope? I measured it against a brand new ML progressor rope and a buddy’s ML Dlx mainline this morning. The loops seemed to Line up on the 3 ropes except for a few that were a inch or 2 off but my Slide loop was about 6-7 inches longer. It seems to be at the white section that attaches to the handle. Maybe streched at the loop? I’ve been using this rope since last season. Has about 150 ish sets on it. Should I send it back to ML and have them adjust it? The construction is braided in or interwoven so not familiar with now I should do it. I need to measure with tape measure also and not just compare to other ropes.
  13. I’d prob buy a 65 as a backup which would prob become a primary
  14. So the theme I’m picking up here is that the Senate allows you to maybe downsize due to the extra width and stability? Im just in weird weight range (175+) but vertically challenged at 5’’7” puts me at in between sizes. It seems the recommendations are to drop a size. Makes sense are you gain surface area from the extra width. Love the speed and bouncy of my 67 Lithium Senate but I def see the benefits of a 65 with my short frame and getting to shorter line lengths. Honestly my most enjoyable sets are at end of a day after working hard on my 66 Vapor Pro Build I can jump on that Senate and rip a relaxing set. So fun! Thank you Radar for feeding my addiction!!
  15. That’s what I though. I’ve never had a ski at “factory settings” from the factory
  16. Are stock numbers as you received it? Or setting it to the posted numbers?
  17. Just eyeballed mine for most part. Center the screws in the slot seemed to work ok. Tweet as necessary
  18. @brooks. At 5’7” about 175 ish. Stick with a 67 or try a 65? 65 is more of a curiosity as I have a 67 Senate Lithium because Radar doesn’t make a 66. I ski it well and wondering any advantage to a 65 as the rope gets shorter?
  19. Well I’m liking the double vapor boot set up on the carbon plate with no space . Ran a Pb tonight and felt great.
  20. I’d try it but the new Carbon sequence plate does not come with spacers. Just screwed it all down.
  21. So feel like an idiot and can’t believe I didn’t just mount front and rotate rear into place before I posted. Good info though. I was able to easily solve my issue by rotating rear in place. Set up exactly how I need it now with zero spacing. So next question —- can anyone feel a difference in ski performance or flex pattern. Between the single plates and the Carbon sequence plate? It seems like it flexes enough and bolted tight down to the ski. I’ve read previous posts about the standard sequence plate and the difference between using the spacers for free float vs not using the spacers. The carbon doesn’t come with any spacer type deal and seems like it would flex. I ran the single plates last night and it felt good. Looking forward to trying out the Carbon sequence tomorrow. Thoughts? Experience on strictly the Carbon plate?
  22. Hmmm. Haven’t heard ankle to ankle before? How does this come into play?
  23. Hopefully rotation into place and if needed file a bit off will work.
