  1. I will most likely be selling my 2017 Senate Lithium in couple weeks after I head back down to Florida to pick it up. Good shape. Normal usage and some scratches on top surface from binding changes and adjustments. Used reflex bindings which are now on my primary ski. Also updated the entire fin block to the one used on 2018 senates and vapors. Will post more info when I pick up the ski and return to the great white north in week or so
  2. Ran a few -15 at 34 mph and -22 at 32mph. Working on consistency at 32 mph Skied with Matt Rini and Freddie Winter on the same day!
  3. I can’t speak for the OMNI or Carbon V but like to try them out sometime. As for the Senate, it’s been great. Have a 2017 Lithium but would prob suggest the Graphite just starting out. Can easily run into 34 mph and 28 to 32 off
  4. I’ve been out of general aviation for 20 years but as @6balls said the stories are all the same for GA accidents/incidents. Most all can be avoided with risk management and not having egos bigger than your flying skills. I guess on the water we can get away with it and live. Honestly after flying heavies for so long the GA thing makes me nervous but I’d love to get back into it again.
  5. @eleeski. That’s why I asked. I’m a career military pilot and airline pilot. I’ve grown up around pilots and we all gravitate toward things like waterskiing, motorcycles, and guns. Not sure I can afford an A5 right now but looking at other options. Where’s Your Lake? I’ll still ski
  6. Been looking at the A5 for a while. Could use one. So how many pilots do we have on this site?
  7. Sport tube looks great. Nice and compact. I use the Radar roller bag and it works well. Carry 2 skis and all my gear no problem. Each ski goes in a neoprene cover with the fin protector before I toss them into the bag so no need to wrap them up like burritos and waste space. No issues yet.
  8. Was in perfski today making my wallet thinner. Always happens. Great folks
  9. Had the same issues on my 17 Senate Lithium. The fin block doesn't really allow for factory settings. I took the whole block apart and filed the fin which gave better numbers. The 18 models now use the a new fin block which comes on the Vapor models. I'll be swapping out to the new block next time I'm down at Perf Ski.
  10. Was in Perf Ski yesterday. I think they had a few lithium Senates. I want to say I saw a couple 67s but your better off calling them. Kathy should be able to help you out. If not I heard they are pressing more soon.
  11. I've seen an intuition cut in half as a rear liner
  12. So you just rename it delete? Or whatever and it stays there. Why not add a delete function
  13. Ya I held them up together and noticed a big difference with the binding inserts. I went with initial suggested settings and ended up moving then forward one hole (have a reflex super shell front setup) and things worked out well. Could be that I measured from different place on binding. On the reflex there is a 1/2 inch difference if you measure from bottom of boot where it meets the heel cup or back of boot up high just under the strap. Either way I think I found a spot that's working for now
  14. @escmanaze I'll trade you my 17 for your 18
  15. Maybe. Still experimenting with set up, but the 67 Senate is better at the slow speeds. It just floats and a lot less effort. I'll have to try them head to head at faster speeds.
  16. The Senate is perfect is perfect for what I'm doing but the Vapor seems a bit big. Thinking if I slim down a few pounds and speed things up the 66 Vapor maybe better for me
  17. @Bill22 Both my Vapor and Senate are 67". I'm 5'7 and at my fat weight of 175-180. (Stocky, not fat)
  18. Lithium Senate ... can't go wrong. Fast and forgiving
