  1. Listening to the announcers talk about Glen Thurlow breaking the 200' barrier at Moomba in 1983. That was 40 YEARS AGO!!! Man, that got me. Made me feel old! 🥺
  2. Pineapple ski. Very interesting looking ski.

  6. One thing I notice is that he appears to be rather light in weight. He probably has a similar strength to weight ratio as Smith did around the same age.
  7. Crazy graphics! It looks like SP and Radar have stepped up the trick ski graphics to match the crazy fun art of modern trick skiing.

  17. IMO this is great news to once again host skiing's premiere event at one of the premier ski sites. I'm sure the competitors love it that they won't have to deal with water taxi rollers, concrete walls and other stupid impediments. It seems like the federation gets it finally.
  18. I grew up on Treasure Island on Lake McQueeney. I vote for Treasure but I sure like the idea of Gilligan too :D
  19. These posts have become my favorite readings on this forum. Thank you @BKistler for writing down these interesting memoirs. Keep them coming!
  20. @BKistler it sounds like Winter Haven and Lake McQueeney (my home lake) have moved in the same direction with more emphasis on show and less 3 event.
