@cougfan Those are the safety chains for the boat trailer, and another one is to lock up the boat lift. Also working on a prototype ski rope that should last a lifetime..

A friend of mine completely restored a 1985 American Skier and put in Perfect Pass. It was a great boat to ski on ,especially trick. Very fun to drive! Small but powerful. Loved it!

The weight of the boat needs to be on the stringers. Measure the bunks on your trailer as your starting point. The majority of the weight of your boat should not be on any spot narrower than the engine compartment/bilge. You may have to get a different type of bracket to hold the bunks. You should be able to modify the cradle to match the trailer.

The hull on the prostar is good. Just needs a ballast tank for trick skiing, or a 12 volt plug in the back with a switch to plug in a fat sac.

Thank you! It has been a very good boat. Only 3 incidents of downtime in 26 seasons. Still in the garage in Pennsylvania, but hope to get her out soon. @ALPJr

1994 Ski Nautique, 2050 hours, now equipped with Perfect Pass Stargazer 3 event version 9.2 and Zbox.

@Deanoski Thank you for the info! Kx is -. n. + or ++. I have mine set to Kx + but that was before the upgrade tp 9.2 and zbox. My boat may be on mothballs this summer due to the pandemic.

Anyone have a Ski Nautique with the 240HP engine, Version 9.2 and ZBOX? If so, how did it work for you, and did you have to adjust the background settings?

I make my own hangers. For wetsuits I cover the top of a hanger with pipe insulation, and for my barefoot suit I cover the hanger with pipe insulation and bubble wrap.

My boat is at my parent's home. Not going to risk their safety until we get the all clear.

I tow my 1994 Ski Nautique with a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox. I have the 2.0 T 4 cylinder with a towing package which will tow 3500 lbs. Most of the time it is a 3 mile round trip(usually once per year) to the launch ramp and back, and an occasional trip to the marina for service which is a 60 mile round trip. For those short distances it is fine. If I towed on a regular basis I would have something bigger like a Ford Ranger, or F150.

I hear this stuff it makes me want to keep my '94 Ski Nautique even more.. for 80K+ the gauges better work.. I would be really pissed..

I had my GPS antenna from 2008 reprogrammed. I was able to get GPS lock from inside a closed garage. I was getting the surge at 2-3 ball. I had to tweak the background settings which kept the buoy times within RC tolerance, but not + or - .01. I am hoping with the repogrammed antenna, and Zbox it will tighten up those times. I have Just loaded Version 9.2 and added the Zbox.

I just installed Stargazer 3 event Version 9.2 with the ZBOX on my 1994 Ski Nautique. Looking forward to trying it out. You can deactivate it and still run it as a standard Perfect Pass.

In the past I have carried my trick ski, ropes, vest, and shorty wetsuit in my trick ski case, and the slalom in it's own case. The last time I flew to Florida was in 2000. The trick ski case is about the size of most suitcases. I had my 68'' slalom in it's own case in the past. Would I still be able to do that today? I looking at flying on Southwest.

Does anyone have the Masterline 3 event roller for carrying their gear on a plane? If so any problems getting it checked in, and how much did it cost to check it. Are you able to carry a pair of jumpers, a slalom ski, and a trick ski at the same time? I am trying to plan a trip to Florida(my first in 20 years), but trying to find a way to save on baggage fees verses carrying separate slalom and trick bags. I used to be under the handle GAJ0003.
