  1. What about the Gateway? Will the 2006 Gateway work with ZO it does it need changing also?
  2. Got mine yesterday, order was placed late last week! Now just need the weather to cooperate.
  3. Got my order in, looking forward to using it wtih my EVO!
  4. I got the same thing. Skied in one tournament last year, and none the year before. Figured they're just trying to get more skiers to go to Regionals & Nats?
  5. You heard of Dr Jaime Michaels? New “woman” on the scene that can reportedly run 41 off. But only on “her” lake.
  6. Just think of the issues they'll have trying to make the speed control on the eboat feel the same as Zero Off! They'll have to add a setting for each to emulate the other. I don't see this happening in the 3 event world, not enough market for it. Now if gas shoots up to $10/gal that might change things.
  7. Can you change to an 8 buoy course? That should give you the extra length needed to ski straight in. Would be tight, but think you could do it.
  8. @Ed_Johnson are you able to use a shock tube with the Orbit?
  9. @jimski decided on the EVO due to some friends recommendations that have skied both and Horton’s review. I typically struggle on my offside and sounds like this is where the EVO shines. Also like that it’s forgiving, I make a lot of mistakes!
  10. Well I decided on an EVO. Thanks for the help though.
  11. Looking at getting a new ski, have it narrowed down to an EVO or Vapor. I'm leaning towards the Vapor, so is the 2019 much of an improvement over the 2018? There are some great deals out there on the 2018, so trying to figure out if it's worth the extra $600. I ski at 34, a mid-35 off skier. Any opinions?
  12. Think I figured it out. Measured the inside of the shells and they're are about 1/2" longer on the new ones vs the old. Even with the liners in them, which were heat molded, I can push the liner forward so there's a 1/2" gap between the back of the liner and shell. Dealer's been great, will get the problem addressed.
  13. Thanks for all the responses. I'll heat mold them again without the footbeds and see it that helps. How many times can you heat mold these liners?
  14. They say size 12. My original though was the liners were thinner in the new ones but when I put my old liners in the new shell they were loose too. So seems like the shells get bigger, or at least mine are...
  15. I’ve been on Radar Strada bindings since 2010, had a couple different pairs. I wear size 12 and they’ve always been very snug fitting, even after hear molding. Just got a pair of Carbitecs with BOA and my feet are loose even with the BOA as tight as I can get it, to the point I feel like it might break. Plus I have to pull on the bungees way tighter than necessary to get a decent fit. Even then my feet move around in the boot. Anyone else have this issue with the newer Radars? Are the new liners thinner? They are a pair of 2017 bindings, but were brand new, still had all the tags on. Thanks
  16. @B_S That’s what she said. Thanks for all the responses, convinced me that we need to take it out.
  17. Forgot to mention we’re on a private ski lake, but sounds like we should pull it. What I figured, just hoping we wouldn’t have to. Thanks
  18. This is our first season with a roll-in type dock and a Shoremaster lift. Wondering if anyone on here that lives in a place where their lake freezes has any experience with a similar setup? We’re trying to figure out if we should leave it in the water or pull it. The rep from Shoremaster said that the freeze by itself won’t hurt the lift, but ice floating in the water in the spring when it stars to thaw could damage it. Thoughts?
  19. 65 this weekend, Bozeman, MT. Will only get colder from here on out.
  20. @DavidP I just got my fin today and will be mounting it on a T2. Hoping to ski tomorrow so I’ll let you know how it goes.
  21. @sunvalleylaw, I'm from Missoula and skied for many years at Dragonfly. Sadly the owner of that lake passed and it's only being used by family now. Like mentioned above Helena or Kalispell are the only other options within 2 hrs of Msla. Enjoy the concert, I saw them there in '98 and was awesome.
  22. Any changes to Radar bindings for 2019?
  23. The margin $ will be lower for slalom boats, but I wouldn't be surprised if the % is about the same if not higher.
