  1. There are two new lakes in Kalispell, MT completed last year. There are a couple houses completed on the lake and several lots have sold. Unfortunately the wrong side of the state for me.
  2. Mostly agree. I'd get rid of it completely, no sense in bringing the video review into it, have a run-off if necessary. Keep it simple, you either get a full buoy, or half. I'm just a hack trying to get through 35 off, but don't see any need for the 1/4 score.
  3. Yeah, but look how cool all that sea deck is! I’m sure the wake is at least $30k better than a MC or Malibu...
  4. The bow looks really short, not sure you’d get decent seats up there without moving the windshield back.
  5. @adamhcaldwell - When changing from Reflex to Radar what are you doing with the binding position? I make the switch late last year from Radar to Reflex and struggling. I kept the same front binding location, maybe I need a change?
  6. @wish. Just thinking the same. Problem is the wait time on each end, but could be slow motion of previous run. But never happen in Olympics. Would be awesome if pro events were run side by side though
  7. Looking at getting a roll-in dock for the lake we ski at. Needs to be removable as the owner of the lake doesn't want anything permanent. Patriot Docks seem to be the cheapest option for a truss style. Anyone have experience with the Patriot Dock roll-ins? Planning to get a 32' long with small 4'x8' patio on the end. If it all works out we'll also be adding a lift. Thanks,
  8. That tongue is ridiculous. I can’t even buckle the top of my boot with that liner and that’s after heat molding. And the thin liner is too thin.
  9. @adamhcaldwell and @mmosley899 can you guys post some pictures of your modified boots? I was on Radar Stradas for years and made the switch to Reflex late last year and really struggled. Looking for anything that can help. The main thing is I need to try an Intuition liner, the thin Reflex is too thin and I don't get enough downward pressure on the top of my foot.
  10. Too F’ing late, around mid June before our lake is full. Will get some open water skiing before that.
  11. I have the thin liner, would like something a little thicker though. I tried the Proform liner and was way too thick, mostly the tongue. I could barely get my top buckles latched on the loosest setting, and that was after heat molding.
  12. Thanks guys I'll check the inlet to the LP pump and the pickup.
  13. I have an '04 196 and can't seem to find an in-line filter. Anyone know if it has one? I followed the line from the tank to the LP pump and don't see anything. Also the holeshot and top speed are way slow for a 196 so hoping to find a clogged filter. Do I need to take the pickup out of the tank, is there a filter in the tank?
  14. I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the water is actually softer and slower. It feels fast likely because you're skiing narrow. Try decreasing your wing.
  15. What liners are most people using? Thin or the Proform liner? Thanks,
  16. Love mine, but yeah the zipper takes some getting used to. Definitely floats better than the Eagle I had.
  17. I'm working on getting someone to watch the kids so I can go. Place is awesome and really want to try the new Vapor!
  18. I've got a Right Size 12 if anyone is interested. Only used 4 sets, new condition. No problems with it, just not for me.
  19. @wdm3000 where are you at? I'm in Bozeman but know skiers all over the state. Do you have it at Kurts? I'd start raising hell to get it fixed. Go up the line to manager.
  20. I'm going through the same change now. First set I had all the buckles cranked tight, couldn't run an opener, could barely get out of the water. Second set loosened the top buckle and felt much better, ran several passes. Will still take a few more sets to feel comfortable. I also had the concern about the release hitting the back R-Style, it's hard to get the boot in, but it releases fine.
  21. Just got my Syndicate hardshell, from Perfomance! I have a couple questions. There's no rubber pad on the bottom of the plate, is anyone putting something on it to protect the ski? The screw heads that attach the boot plate stick out and figure they'll tear up the ski. Also, I've been using Superfeet insoles in my Stradas for years would you recommend the same in these, or are they not necessary? I'll be using a R-Style rear. Thanks.
  22. Just ordered the HO Syndicate, hope it doesn't have this problem.
  23. @MISkier - could you send me one of your sample letters. I'm trying to do the same thing, but haven't contacted the owners yet. justin.edgell@gmail.com thanks,
