  1. If you have a boat there's a course on Neosho Pond that gets put in every year.
  2. For what it's worth here's my experience on D3 over the last 5 years. I generally ski at 36mph @ 32-off. Decent stack, but really struggle with staying connected off the second wake. I've gone from a Helix to a Quest 45 to an ARC to an NRG. All 67" skis. Came from an HO A3. I liked the Helix more than the HO so decided to stay in the D3 family. LOVED the Quest 45. Faster, but always felt very balanced, stable, predictable. Never should have sold it. Went to the ARC and was never comfortable on it. Lost that stable feeling. And now I love the NRG as much as the Q45. Speed, stability and let's me move around without punishing me. Seems the fastest of the bunch as well to help with my terrible issue after the second wake.
  3. Milwaukee Boat Show had a TXi and SN. No Prostar.
  4. I used to have an HO ARTP, but went to one of HO's sized RTPs last year and can't imagine ever going back. I keep the ARTP just incase I need to ski with a rear neoprene boot when the water is below 40.
  5. I love how $75k is considered an intro price now. :)
  6. For people like me and my crew that are stuck on a public lake with no course access this would be nothing short of a game changer. Very exciting. However, I gotta say that $2500 is well north of what I'd be willing to pay and I'm usually pretty loose with the cash when the boat or skiing comes into the discussion. $1500 would be about my trigger point. Hopefully the cost can come down. LOVE THE IDEA!
  7. Yep. Never felt down on power w/ my '16 w/ the Crusader 6L over the last two years, although it is Wisconsin. The only think I notice is that if the engine heat soaks for 10 mins after pulling a few sets that it takes a bit longer to fire up - an extra second or two. I'm assuming it's the fuel pump working a bit harder to fight against vapor lock.
  8. I haven't been able to find it either and when they sent me the .mot file to flash ZO they did not pass anything else along with it.
  9. Magic Formula = 25% quick wax, 25% vinegar, 50% distilled water.
  10. Yeah. Updated it a couple of weeks ago. I'm recovering from a slipped disc so I'm not back to normal yet, but I'd say that it's definitely much improved, although it doesn't quite feel like rev Q in trick mode.
  11. The .mot file is named "E1886030A_S100.mot", hence "100S" I guess. That first part before the underscore is for the model number so I'm assuming that could be different. That's the ZO model number that's in my '16 TXi.
  12. Updated this weekend. B2+ is a little bit different than Trick Mode, but it's close. Nice improvement.
  13. I've had the opposite experience. My 2016 has been my best of four yet. Would be interested to hear what issues you've had. Mike
  14. Just got this back from ZO yesterday... Rev S is not available yet and I do not have a date. There will be a REV S link on our web site once available.
  15. IGNORE THE FOLLOWING DUMB POST THAT I CAN'T DELETE... But at what RPM is that Ford Raptor getting 449 lbs? And the GM?
  16. @oldjeep The story I heard is that they renamed it to help property values.
  17. If you're thinking about Three Lakes up north there's a great lake that is "hidden", but still attached to the Eagle River/Three Lakes chain so you can ski anytime of the day and get good water while still being able to hit the chain the rest of the days. On newer maps it's called Chrystal Lake. On older maps it's called Mud Lake. Rent a place somewhere on the Three Lakes chain and then get over to Chrystal lake via a little channel off of Deer Lake. See http://bit.ly/2v1tPJ8
  18. For those of you that are putting 3M on the top of the gunnels... how are you trimming it? Assuming just using a razor blade, but I'm worried about trashing my gel coat.
  19. Thanks yet again @adamhcaldwell Now I just need to figure out how this translates to the water. :) In all seriousness, this really is great content that gives me something to think about besides trying to figure out when the ice is going to clear up here.
  20. This thread has really opened my eyes and given me something to think about. Thanks to everyone for chiming in on their perspective. My question/problem is similar to @Stevie Boy's comment above. In order for all of this to work after CL I still need to carry a lot of speed into CL , right? And THAT is where I'm still struggling. So much of what we talk about on here is that it's what we do 10 steps before X that determines if X will be done right or wrong. So it's those steps that lead to everything Adam hit on above that I'm also interested in.
  21. Without enough subscriptions they needed to rely on more advertising dollars from the industry. With that reliance on advertising dollars they lost the ability to be more critical and the BBG became the first and most obvious example of that. My understanding is that at the end WSM only had 7,000 subscribers. At a generous estimate of $15/year that's only $105k in subscription revenue. That leaves the rest of the revenue coming from advertisers. It's a surprise to me that it was able to last as long as it has given the decline in 3 event. Thanks for @TFIN for trying to keep it going despite what I assume was a huge uphill battle. Mike
  22. Both. I like it written so I can search on keywords easier. I like this because you're elaborating a bit more.
  23. I'll take it. Shipping would be to 53189. If you PM me your PayPal account I can send it to you. You can also email it to me at mlange 1 9 7 0 at google mail. Thx, Mike
