  1. Had to rename the bounty. So it is now the 55k podium bonus. Nautique did not like the bounty program. But Brenda will do it anyway and offer discounts to skiers
  2. Big Dawg in Mexico this weekend. Cash in with an eagle vest and In Tow handle
  3. She just corrected me. This also applies for the lady Big Dawg as well
  4. I have talked with Brenda at In Tow about the Big Dawg Series and the skiers. She is very excited to show the Big Dawg Skiers some love. She is going to follow suit with the Eagle Sports Big Dawg Bounty. In Tow will pay $100 for 1st. $75 for 2nd and $50 for 3rd place finishes at the Big Dawg Tour stops if you ski with an In Tow handle. She is willing to offer discounts on ropes and handles to Big Dawg Skiers as well. You must call Brenda at. 575 527 2917 to get details on discounts. As with the industry first Big Dawg Bounty from Eagle Sports, In Tow also recognizes that the Big Dawg Skiers spend a lot of money in the sport and both of these companies are willing to put a little back in your pocket . The In Tow online store is not yet up on the web site. So you need to contact Brenda directly for these discounts.
  5. Thanks for the credit on the post with Brenda. I really like the handle and hopefully I don't ever need the heat guard bar. But I do like the thought of having it on there
  6. @Sethski‌ might be the most technical skier alive today.
  7. Here is a pic of the Handle with the head guard from In Tow
  8. The handle is in the boat I will take some pics and try and post them. I quit using the head guards cause I found myself hitting and grabbing them all of the time. This one is very functional and works great. Brenda is ready to be back in the game here and will have some new products and new ropes out real soon. Just wanted to post this as an option for the best option I have seen or used as a head guard. Certainly a good idea for all ballers to use. Terrible things can happen at the speeds and positions we get ourselves in. So I hope everyone will at least give it a look as an option
  9. Hey guys. Brenda at In Tow is making some great handles with a head guard that is a bar strung into the handle. This head guard works really great and you don't even notice it is on there. I have used some of the plastic guards and they seem to add weight and make the handles kinda bulky and a pain to sometimes change and to take off of ropes during the tournament. Brenda sent me two handles and they are identical to the Masterline Custom Grip. Felt really good on both the spectra and the poly strung handle. If you want a different option with the head guard for safety, the In Tow bar is virtually invisible to you while you are skiing definately worth looking at as an option. You can go to www.jlbmfg.com and check them out
  10. You can contact Chuck at eagle and ask them to add flotation. The platinum series vest have more flotation in them than the standard vest however if you don't like the platinum you can have them custom build vest with additional flotation
  11. Gates are on long stretchy bungy attached to a cable several feet below. Not enough weight to keep them still. They move 12-18 inches at times. Sometimes it the luck of the draw as you go through them. You hope they are still wide as the boat passes thru. Some are not that lucky and catch them as the are bouncing back towards the boat and come towards the boat by 12-18 inches making them narrower than usual
  12. Jody's boat is an awesome driving and skiing machine. He always has it dialed in. So you will not be dissappointed if pick this one up
  13. It will be at the Lakes of Katy. An event put on by Eagle Sports for the current world record holders who are also on the Eagle pro team.
  14. Congrats to the ULM team. This is a great group of young people that work really hard as a team.
  15. Andy. I have a 2013 Malibu TXI 30 th anniversary available. It is a great boat and has pulled numerous records. 4 this past weekend in SRB. Great skiing and driving boat.
  16. It will come back completely reconditioned. They will repair and refinish the bottom of the ski. I have nicked a few of them on platforms and docks. Had one of my favorite skis redone after I got a little too close to the shore or should I say dry land on if. Didn't wanna jump on a new one. Still skiing on the one Dave fixed for me
  17. I think you should shoot for dead nuts center. The tolerance is a safety net for when a driver gets out of sync with the skier. You can drive dead straight and be in sync with the skier. Too many drivers are trying to use the tolerance to make it easier on the skier. I have talked with almost every open skier and they would rather have a tight line at the finish of the turn than an driver that is trying to use the tolerance to give the skier 2-3 inches. I can assure u that skiers at short line need the rope to finish the turn not the back of the boat. Splash eye is a great tool for drivers to see what they are doing. Hopefully it will become affordable enough to have it at each site. It's great technology for drivers
  18. It will last much longer if u take it of by putting the arm through the arm hole. If the zippers a getting stressed maybe try the next size larger. I can wear a large or the XL at 185 lbs. the Xl zips a little easier and the design makes us look like we have those abs we had 15 years ago. I prefer the back zip and I have gotten two years or more out of each one. My vouching for how long these last is going to effect my supply if Eagle One reads this. But seriously. I ski at least 4 days a week with a back zip and my practice vest is 3 years old. It is now starting to fray around the arms but after that many sets it's certainly acceptable. You guys made a good point on taking them off because I have had to show several people how to get it off easily after watching them wrestle to get out of it. Eagle makes a great product and chuck is willing to support the sport of waterskiing. He sponsors every major event from professional to amateur events. He gives back to the people that support his product. What events does Oneill billabong or camaro support And he is more than willing to stand behind his product which is made in the USA not in some Chinese sweatshop.
  19. If you have a problem with an Eagle Vest. I can assure you that Chuck will take care of and stand behind the product. If it is the stitching or a defect in the product he will stand behind it and repair it. Depending on how much you use it and how you take care of it the vest last. I have several pullovers that Are over two years old. If you don't get the issue resolved drop me an email. I will be glad to assist in getting it taken care of
  20. I don't know if boat drivers intentionally weave in Class C tournaments, however I do know that some drivers tense up and drive differently when the camera is on at the end of the lake. Intentional or not!! I have skied behind drivers on Friday night before the tournament and then on Saturday when the camera is rolling it feels like a completely different person in the boat. I do think if you look at the rankings list you will see some folks with better scores in Class C versus their L or R scores. I think the L/R scores should count more than the Class C. There is now currently discussion amongst the TC committee to review all boat paths from record tournaments and start watching all of the driving that is going on out there. End course is too easy to put up, it should be required at all tournaments no matter what Class. So people can review their own boat path's after a tournament. Looking at the end course can be quite humbling at times.
  21. Thanks Guys for all the Congrats. It was a long time coming, my last year in Mens 3 and a title I always wanted at least once. Coming up in the days of Chuck Forrest, the Mens 3 title was something special. I sure hate that it took so long I know there were people that wanted some of us out of there. I will follow in the footsteps of my good friend Jay and head to MM. We both said if we ever won we would ski MM. Congrats to Jay who is a hell of a skier and a great friend of mine. He has been lighting it up. See you next year in MM Thanks Guys for the patience
  22. Pulled Cp through 41 several times and Nate Smith. Pulled Mapple through 41@34 mph. I agree with Jody, the skiers like CP are relatively easy to pull because he and Nate are pretty symetrical skiers and don't really load the boat up out of the buoy. However the key to pulling these guys is to stay a little ahead of them in the course and don't get to chasing the skier through the course.
