  1. Eagle no question. Made in the USA major sponsor of all waterski events Gives money back and truly a company for skiers
  2. Less length on fin. Will make off side turn cleaner
  3. No the video won't lie. I drove it this weekend. I kept is straight but don't think it was my best days work on the wheel. MC did a great job making excellent wakes by lifting the boat up and out of the water. With a little seat time good drivers will figure it out I really found that less was more. Not to over react in the boat. By the end of a couple rounds it was getting better. This is the first shot at this boat. With anything new they will tweak and make some subtle changes to make it better. Great drivers like Chris Eller Will Bush and Greg Badal will continue to provide input and you can bet they will keep tweaking At least now skiers don't mind seeing it pull up at the dock drivers like myself will just need a little seat time in it to get comfortable.
  4. Have skied and driven all of the boats. The new MC is a huge improvement to the previous model. My guess is they will still be working on the drive ability of the boat. Although it does not track like some of the other boats it is relatively easy to keep in the middle. My guess is those that feel it's very tough to drive are probably feeling some of the movement with he hull more of a roll than actually moving. The pylon is high and causes the boat to roll. I learned pretty quickly that it is best to not over steer the boat it may feel as though it requires more driver input but I found it was best to not work the wheel as much. The boat wants to go straight. On a positive note. It is a much better boat than the last years. The cockpit and the amount of room is very nice
  5. Depends on what you will use the TXI for. If you are buying strictly a boat to slalom with, the TXI with a 5.7 is the best option for slalom. If you are needing a boat for slalom and jump, no doubt the 6.0 is the way to go.
  6. I am currently working with Dave on a new version of the mid ride. XTM to be introduced later in the year by Goode
  7. Bevels and rocker profile. Assymetrical rocker like the XT
  8. The XTT is the traditional shape ski. It is what Parrish is on. It is a 67 1/4. The XTT will be available in traditional sizes.
  9. Thanks. TFIN for chiming in. The BD is 50 guys that put the entries up and ski for a pot. About like my neighborhood poker game. As you know most of the big dawg skiers are huge fans of yours and all of professional skiers in general. I personally agree with some on here and beleive there should be a bigger pro tour for you guys. Thanks for your comments. See you soon
  10. @millertime‌38. What's your best run at Robin Lake? Just curious
  11. Actually it was ready to go. I called someone at the tournament while they were skiing and was told web cast would not begin till tricks. Sounds planned to me
  12. BTW What kind of distraction to the Open division will the Big Dawg Skiers be at 7:30 am on Friday before the juniors ski. Most Open skiers wont even be there yet. A two person head to head exhibition on Sunday should not steal the thunder from the Open. Identity Crisis?? Probably. For those that dont think Big Dawg should be there DON'T WATCH its your right. On the other hand I think more people on this forum are fans of the Big Dawg and will be tuned in. And I agree with Jones whats the difference with having Juniors. The more we include in these events the more exposure it will get. Good luck to everyone at the Masters
  13. Have fun Dave, Jay, Jeremy and Harold. I'm jealous wish I was gonna be there. Will be watching all of it. Big dawgs and the pros rippin
  14. I really don't know how a fan of waterskiing would say having the big dawg skiers at the Masters is a bad idea. It doesn't water down any professional skiing. There are very few spectators that come to a water ski event that don't know the difference. These are the best master men or should I say full time job working skiers in the sport. Why not give them the opportunity to ski at a prestigious event such as the masters. Hats off to correct craft for recognizing the importance of the masters men. Btw I also know that without the masters men and the working class skiers that buy boats and buy equipment there would probably not be professional skiers at all. These companies support their athletes by selling products to those who have jobs and money to buy these products. There is certainly no doubt the open skiers and their performances stand out above what the big dawg skies do at 34 mph. Having the opportunity to ski with the guys who are usually in the hunt. I know that Nate Smith, CP and Will Asher don't feel as though there is not a place for MM skiers at these event. They know that their performance usually stand out no matter who is there and have welcomed the big dawg skiers. The top pros are not intimidated or do not feel watered down by the performances of the big dawg. But I guess opinions are like well u know. Everyone's got one
  15. FYI. Brenda has moved the cross bar down to 5 inches as I had same experience. At 5 inches from handle you won't notice it
  16. Horton the unknown rope is a boat tie down. Your near guess was correct. Tie down works pretty well at tournys with inadequate dock tie downs.
  17. No I certainly think Mapple gave him the support he needed. However the truth is in the numbers of 41 offs he ran in tournaments on each ski. So I guess time will tell. Nate had 38 cracks at 43 when he broke the record. So you have to be on the ski that will give you the most consistency. Dave is building his own skis at his own factory and he has the ability to cut or change a mold any time he wants. He builds text molds all the time at a very high cost to him. So I know that Dave is committed to building a ski for CP that will give him the best opportunity to have a shot at the record plain and simple!!!!! For example. TGas has his own ski fans design that works for him. So that's the support and commitment I am refering to. Not saying Andy did not support him because I know he did.
  18. Horton. We have very hard water spots at our lake. I used to have to buff the boat every three weeks to remove the spots. I have been using babes for the past three years and have not used a buffer since. Babes is awesome about sending products for goodie bags for our tournaments as well. They have just stepped up as a sponsor for the Malibu Open. Hands down the best product out there for the boats. Order a bucket of babes and give it a shot
  19. Cp is back on the Goode because he felt that he was more consistent on the Goode. Look at the number of 41s he ran on the Goode versus the Mapple. Dave is committed to building the ski for him that will give him the best opportunity to challenge the record and become more consistent at 41. It should be interesting. Remember the days when cp did a triple opt up and ran 41. Look forward to a good year of skiing. One of the best weeks I have ever had was when Nate and Chris spent a few days here in Louisiana. Watching them push each other wax a lot of fun. As much as Nate enjoys winning he enjoys competition as does CP. Competition is great for the sport. I look forward to another week of those two down here in Louisiana skiing and knocking out 41s like they were 35 off
  20. Ski is a stock traditional nano. 67.25 made with camo graphics because that's what CP asked for
  21. Cp went to Hancock this week and with about 4 sets on the ski he ran 4@41. Today was his 7th set on ski and ran 41 during a practice round at Swiss. Hopefully CP can step up the game again. In my opinion he skied pretty well on the Goode when he was on it. Good luck to him
  22. I have a 2104 Malibu TXI on a tandem trailer I will get you in for less than 50. Stereo, Heater, bimini, heated seat, cover, hot water shower, and metallic gel coat. The increased cost of these boats is out of control. Not much changing to warrant the price increase in my opinion. So anyone looking for a 2014 Malibu TXI. Black and white with silver metallic accent, Give me a call available in August.
