  1. I think the idea has merit, but we really need to think of the group of skiers it's directed at. Older people who often have medical conditions which need treatment. The doping standards would severely limit pain medications, hormone replacement, arthritis treatments, allergy drugs, etc. To comply, athletes would have to forego treatment of many conditions and potentially place their health and well being at risk. The other parts of the proposal are great and will really help our sport. I would do what ever I can in this area to help.
  2. Thanks. That's what I was hoping for.
  3. Let us know how the OJ works. I'm looking at a new prop for my boat as well.
  4. I see that the 200 has been approved with different props for the 5.7 for 2014. I assume that one of the options allows for a reduction in RPM compared to the earlier versions. I have a 2010 5.7 200 with the original prop. I am considering changing the prop to match the current tournament boats and am looking for some advice and find out the typical RPM's with the currently approved props and their effect. Many thanks in advance.
  5. I have never been able to log in with Safari on my IMac even after going through your fix list. I just use Chrome instead.
  6. Matt, thank you for your efforts. I'm in the same boat as Chuck. Even after all of the resets you suggested, still not letting me login. Using Chrome in the mean time.
  7. Still no luck, even after clearing cache and restarting. Using Chrome in the mean time.
  8. I am also still having issues even after clearing cache. OS X 10.9 (13A603) Safari 7.0 (9537.71)
  9. I see the rudder but not the prop or the part that holds the drive shaft.
  10. Take a closer look at the intransitive picture. I don't see the prop behind. Hmmm.
  11. In Omaha on Sunday our low was thirty two Today our high was one hundred Weather is crazy
  12. I had the same problem last week. Went to the FAQ thread. There is a bit there on the steps to solve the problem on the ipad. Good luck.
  13. Does that mean if they are not skiing behind their sponsor's boat, the will sand bag the opportunity to set a new record? That seems a bit counter productive.
  14. it might have something to do with the pull by zero off as well in the newer boats. It makes it feel like a whole different game at times if you are not used to it.
  15. Question? If you have a floating course in 20 to 30 feet of water, would you be able to use heavy anchors and pull the course down by tightening the main line to the course through a pulley on one anchor?
  16. We just finished installing one of Ed's courses. It's a permanent course with a cable main line. We purchased the 20 ft pieces of PVC for about $240. Top line product and top line service. Thank you Ed.
  17. My wife uses a kayak top in the spring and in the fall until the lake ices over. She does not mind cold legs and loves the mobility it provides. The arms and neck seal fairly well, but the waste is a bit leaky. It still keeps your upper body mostly warm but not dry. All bets are off if you have a bad fall. She has found hers at general sporting goods stores like Dick's or Scheel's here in the midwest.
  18. For those of us not there, what ski was the flavor of the day?
  19. Sad day. I hope someone can step up to maintain its use. That site has a lot of history.
  20. Stagnation will eventually happen to everyone. Hate to break it to you guys, but if you skied seriously before you were 30 and you are now 50 plus, you are probably in maintenance mode. You hope not to lose too many buoys this year. You are all going to hit that wall at some point.
  21. I think you may be on to some significant distinctions no one is willing to admit. Getting the leadership to understand the need will be a different matter. Going to this type of system raises some questions. Can it be done within the framework of the existing USAWS or do the masses need to develop an independent organization? How does one migrate from the masses format to the elite? Are separate records kept for each division? Are there enough elite and professional skiers to train and evaluate competent judges and drivers if most of us operate under a more lax system? Are we big enough to start creating multiple categories with different rules and processes?
  22. Horton, I think you are dead on. The C setting is quicker to respond, therefore it gases you a lot less. I don't like the surge you get at the A settings or the longer power applications you get at the 1 settings. C3 sounds scary, but in reality it's not so bad.
  23. Isn't the 6 liter a little lighter than the smaller engine?
  24. You might be missing the boat garage on the right side where you drive your boat right into the house. The ones out front are probably just for guests
