  1. Willing to buy anyone’s position on the waiting list that would like out. I’ve been there on the developer side of manufactured product and totally understand delivery issues. Just PM me.
  2. How many skiers using RTP start both feet in? Just wondering

    The Masters

Broadcast style is definitely polarizing. You love it or hate it. My wife and family have come to accept as part of Memorial Day Weekend, compromise is I wear headphones or turn audio off. Hey it’s the Masters! If the sport really wanted to grow we would have events on public water where average joes like me ski. Let chips fall where the may. Competative waterskiing has become a country club sport. There was a day when Average Joe knew the names of all the top skiers, now average Joe hasn’t even heard of tre Masters. In the big picture complaining about an announcers style and roque rollers is a rather clear reflection of our diversifying sport. Hey it’s the Masters! I love it!
  4. Surprised that there haven’t been any posts yet. ??????

I think they set the bar for Webcasts. Add Wade Cox to the mike for some back and forth and insight. Great job and now on YouTube for viewing. :) :) :)
  6. My little princess spectating with dad@ US Open, Bell Aqua 1990. #memories
  7. Will clean edge technology show up in other skis in HO syndicate line
  8. As I read equipment reviews it seems that many skis have un-balanced on-side, off-side turn characteristics. How much of this is skier related? How much can it be used help individual skier skier style. Can you discuss.
  9. -What happened to the step bottom used on S2, seems like you guys spent a bunch of time working on that innovation. P.S. I really like that ski. -Understand that a great amount of testing done to establish Stock Fin Settings. Why not provide a Fin Jig for those settings. Would do several things. For non-caliper gurus would provide a home base, for those that are into measuring would be a means to calibrate their measurements. Most quality digital calipers are +/- .001 accuracy. The user =/- ?
  10. My 20 year old Nautique. Friends for life. Thanks CC
  11. In the day boat companies built and sold boats to skiers with dreams. Today it is to skiers with obsessions. I grew up with 7 friends and combined we have purchased 15 boats. We together have 15 children and my guess is that none will buy a new boat in their life. Good news my kids still love going out with Dad!
  12. Another idea is a refurbished/re-power business. Lots of great boats out there that could be made like new with new interior, carpet and gel detailing. I have a 99 SN that I bought new. Has 1700 hours and is a gem. No holder for my hull plug though. (might have to look for aftermarket accessory)
  13. CL happens so fast. Could edge change be thought of as “depowering feet/legs” without changing position. Then sounds like you attempt to become a tether ball. (Good example of how rotation speeds up with shortening rope)
  14. Was at the lake the other day and heard my ski buddy yelling "pull harder". Actually was pretty good coaching for his wife to get the lawnmower started that had been sitting all winter. It worked!
  15. I really do understand and appreciate the complexity of advancing ski design. As skiers we owe a great deal of thanks to a relatively small number of minds. I’m sure few stones have been unturned, why I skied with a pretty good skier once who glued half of O’Brien Siege to half of a KD 7000. His ski boot was beyond description. My interest in Tech/equipment is just part of my enjoyment of the sport. Thanks @horton for this forum and moderation, thanks @adamhcaldwell for your unselfish sharing of knowledge.
  16. @adamhcaldwell Thanks for your answer! Totally understand the complexity of modeling a ski that works the same for both Laurl and Hardy. Even with height/ weight curves being a bell shape, there are those way outside. Some it helps to be a world record holder, and others a steep uphill climb. What got me thinking about this was our copy machine. Thought wow what if it was as easy as taking a 3-D CAD and enlarging or shrinking by 2% (or whatever). Relationship of curves would the same although as @horton mentioned slightly different (possible favorably different). Thought might be easier than designing another ski several inches different in length, moving binding 1/2 inch, and keeping a fin in same spot. Love what you guys are doing!
  17. Not sure about nano. Wide Ride seemed to be a different shape. I’m thinking more of a proportional volumetric with exception of length.
  18. In today’s world of 3-D modeling has there ever been consideration of volumetric ski sizing. What if ski length was kept the same, binding/fin position kept the same, rocker location the same, and change only made to width to maintain similar base Psi. Maybe only Two lengths, but multiple volumes in each to adjust for skier weight, water temp, viscosity etc.
  19. I just checked out the demo program and it sounds really good. Will give one a whirl when we get on the water. Thanks
  20. @savaiusini . I have skied multiple seasons on 67.5 S2 and never felt small. 69" inch skis (Senate, Vapor) have skied well but I always felt like I struggled to get over front of ski enough. Really like my 68" vapor. Also wondering if any problem mounting Reflex binding as top os ski seems to have some contour (haven't seen one in person). Thanks for information!
  21. Do you think 67 would support 215@34 28-32?
  22. Anyone want to give “pull” a definition. Seems like skier body is nothing more than an energy transfer link. How does one efficiently pull harder? My answer would be to optimize ratio: Energy Available/Energy wasted. (Largest # wins) -rigid body -pull through center or mass -enough forward lean to maintain optimal pitch of ski -enough edge angle to minimize side slide -yaw that matches cross course angle allowed by cross course speed For each of us the answer probably is different ??
  23. I thought it might be Doc Collins. Sean and I were Ortho school classmates and used to ski at his PRO-AM site on the delta. He told me one time I was too big to take bad falls because I looked like a sheet of plywood flying out of the back of a pickup. Great Guy!
  24. @Horton In bottom photo who is far right.
