  1. Here is our 1990 Brendella that is for sale. Has lived at this lake it’s whole life. Started as a promo , we are the third owners. Bought it for my kids , but they just don’t use it. Just under 1200 hours on the Ford 351 engine , original interior is in good shape , perfect pass . Pre Covid pricing. Located in Arvin Ca.
  2. Riley said she will miss Reagan. I told her we will still see her. She will be here for tournaments , and to ski with her dads friends. Then she said “ I hope we get a kid “. We getting a kid for her to play with ? Did you sell it to a Baller ? Drum roll …………..
  3. Any of you have experience with Spiritflo herbicide ? We just dumped six gallons of that stuff mixed 1:4 with water into our three lakes which are roughly 33-35 acre feet. We have niade and what appears to be horned pond weed growing to the surface in places 4’ - 8’ deep , which is our bottom. The pond weed is nasty. It gets spooled onto your prop at slow speeds around the dock and start zone. You then loose your steering. One of our boats almost ended up on the island yesterday. We plan to drag the docks and drop zones to harvest the bad areas. Any thoughts in that ? Thanks for the help
  4. @UWSkier , you trying to tell me that Ron does not now own a boat dealership ? Seems that he is leading the pack as far as boats bought and sold on this sight ? Like your idea ,he could do Cal Worthington type commercials. Google Cal Worthington commercials. He had some real goofy ones with his dog Spot.
  5. Post a pic from the article if you can. Would be cool addition to this thread.
  6. @Horton , my back may let me ski this season ?? Will take you up on it for sure.
  7. @Wish , if you ever get out west and visit Horton , you can come over here for a ski ride as well. I almost skied with you when I was working in Florida a few years ago , but it never worked out.
  8. Better go launch the boat if I want to get in on the next round. My ski is starting to talk to me. Sad thing is the dirt bike in the back of my truck is calling me louder than the ski is. Riding is actually better on my busted up back than skiing is.
  9. And I thought this was about crap talking on @Booze Continue on …..actually don’t , let’s get this to page 2 . ?
  10. Can any of you advanced slalom guys ( 35 and deeper ) explain your automatic edge change , if you have one ? I’m just a -32/34 guy who used to run 35 on a good day. I know that if I load hard behind the boat and keep the elbows in and handle down , it should happen automatically. Hearing how you shortliners learned this , or visualize it , may help us longerliners. Thanks
  11. Yes it will help with your shoulders. Bought mine when coming back from rotator cuff surgery. The guy with a waterski forum on the neighboring lake was also using one for a short time when coming back from a torn bicep.Hear they are in back order now. They are well worth the money.
  12. Figured you guys would understand this better than my dirt bike forum buddies. ( that’s where I got this ) Happy SINKO De Mayo
  13. Very good episode. Such an awesome coaching team ! What an eye opener that the slack on my harder passes is created by what I’m doing ( or not doing ) behind the boat. I’ve frequently been told it’s because I let the handle out too quickly. I was waiting for the guys to start talking about letting the handle out too quickly , but since they didn’t , I finally got it ? As Trent stated in the beginning , the slack is a byproduct of what you do behind the boat. Thanks guys !!
  14. No I didn’t , yes you did , no I didn’t , yes you did
  15. “ Divot clean up on lake 3 please , divot clean up on lake 3 “ That’s one big divot in that there wake.
  16. My buddy Donny will be able to help you with that poll. Once he quits seeing those tweety birds ?
  17. When .......you’ve spent your newer Mastercraft upgrade money on three current model dirt bikes and have only skied a handful of long weekends this season. Got bit badly by the off - road bug. Now that’s a skiing problem right there. Hoping to get bit by the ski bug tomorrow.
  18. Just got a tube ?? She’s been running a tubing school behind your back for the last few seasons ?
  19. 9. Designate that end of board the visitor / challenger side. Just in case . Must be that growing up in earthquake zone thing for me. ?
  20. Such sad news. I knew of Marc , but never had the opportunity to meet him. Sounds like I missed out. He and all of his family and friends are in my thoughts. Makes you think about life and how quickly tragedy can change everything. Knowing that his organs are saving other lives must make his soul feel good. He has given the gift of life to people that desperately needed it. There is something very special about that little red dot on your drivers license. Rest In peace my friend.
  21. @skialex thank you for that video. Those dudes are nuts. The skier that pulled the hole shot runs it in on the bike next to him. Skier vs bike , that is priceless right there. Hope the riders and skiers get to switch places , because the skier is always at the wrong end of the rope in this sport.
  22. Zakdogs 190 is a beautiful boat. It is in very good condition and skis well. The boat is definitely one that could be purchased sight unseen as there are many ballers here at Ski West. And for a bottle of scotch you could probably get Horton to ride his bike over and check it out for you. ?
