When launching into the ocean ( literally ) on a low tide with algae covering the bottom of the ramp , I forgot to engage the front hubs of my 1 year old 4x4..............the only reason that I wasn’t able to drive home that day , besides the many beers that I drank while changing all the fluids , was that the in tank fuel pump was damaged by the salt water that entered the fuel tank......Toyota’s take a sinking and keep on thinking. Did I mention that it was not insured because of some of the previous STUPID decisions that I made ? Ended up driving it for another 100,000 miles or so with zero issues. Wonder how many more miles the person who stole it from me got out of her ? By then it was insured , but I was bummed because all of the good and bad memories that I had with that truck.

@oldjeep , what year Vapor did you get ? Horton was talking about the 2020 version. Something may be up with this ski ?

Not what I expected. I’ve seen guys throw their skis before , but never a fight. Maybe it’s the quarantine , but I was ready to watch a waterski fight. Bet there are a few good waterski fight stories out there.

May start skiing now that most of the off-road areas and all of the motocross tracks in So Cal have been closed down ? Hard to do so when the bike is still screaming and the ski is just whispering to me.

I know where some ( most ) of my stimulus check will be spent. Have been wanting to try hard shells for a while now. Seeing that I am on a fixed income in retirement , I better do the right thing and pump it back into the economy and support the small business that support us.

You got it. That will replace the four I got from you today , not. I tried , but Kim was home. With everyone working from home now , us burglars are getting hit just as hard as you honest working folks. Here is the moment I thought I was about to hit the TP jackpot.

Up at the lake to do work and use as home base for riding my mountain bike and dirt bike. I usually don’t throw the boat in until it starts getting too hot for me to ride comfortably , then it’s ski time !! Almost out of the priceless thin paper on the roll , and of course , local stores have none. Might have to throw the boat in and offer rides for rolls , or sneak over to Horton’s place when I see him and Reagan ( hate to call that cute little girl Buford ) over on lake 3 with Rico and his crew of little ones. I know that we are in a serious situation and it’s no joke , but figured a little humor would be ok. Might take my mind off of the several new Mastercrafts that I just lost in my 401K ☹️ Damn I should of bought that boat last fall ?.
