  1. I have a brand new one that hasn't been used yet...it does look like that.
  2. My experience with this is for years I pivoted my rear binding. As i got better at skiing, I started to fall over on my offside turn. I approached the problem as logically as I possibly could...I was afraid of straightening the rear and comprimising my onside turn. And then a thought came to me...my onside turn and pull has become quite nasty (meaning good or effective). In fact, if I think about it, I can turn at almost any speed on that side, and I make up lost time like crazy across the wake. How much will I really be comprimising? Not much, I straightened the rear and my off-side became smooth, fast, and sharp, giving me the best coordinates I've ever had out of 1, 3, 5, with multiple pb's in practice and at tournaments. The onside is still a nasty weapon. -Al
  3. chuck, how do you like the mpd? i just got one, just curious, whats your wieght, i hope to be 160 soon for this ski at 34 mph 32 and 35 off
  4. started 7 years ago 75' line 26 mph on a 66" redline classic KD then upgraded to KD 7000 and progressed all the way to 15' off 36mph, then I got an HO CDX and went deep into 22 off 36, then I turned 35 and went down to 34 mph, on the CDX I would get 1-3 at 32 off, then I got an X5 65.5 got the same scores. Then I got a 2006 white top Nomad, I spent a considerable amount of time finicking with this ski and practicing patience at the buoy, this got me through 32 off and 1 or 2 at 35 off, my best scores to date. I am going to start this season with A 66" 2007 MPD, but more importantly, I am looking to run 35 off 34 mph, at the end of last season I made great progress with my gate, I am going to perfect this as soon as I can, also want to get a better edge change (allowing the ski to cross underneath and cast out to the buoy line) sold the CDX and the X5, the 7000 is in the backyard getting snowed on, and in my room I have a 66" 2007 F1 brand new, the MPD and the white Nomad, Im keeping those.ÂÂÂ
  5. What about scores? Or buoy counts? Or compare the test scores to the skiers' PB or average score. I could never tell if my Nomad was faster than my X5, but I definitely picked up an entire pass in tournaments, but then again, I'm just learning shortline, I might have just gotten better at gates and patience and what-not.
  6. Sounds good, and thanks for the offer John, already snagged one, a 2007 66", c'mon spring.
  7. Hi, skied in 2007 on an '06 nomad, and this season i would like to try the 2007 Radar Mpd. Would anyone have any input on what I may expect from this change? Thank you.
  8. When my bad side is good, it's better than my good side...what?
