  1. @Jody_Seal Can I change out the FCC on my 2010 353 to a spin on canister. I have the inline filter as well. The filter on the FCC is $40 and a pain to change.
  2. What temp do I turn my oven to and for how long to fit the insoles? I have the first gen sequence plate; however the rear is all bent up. Are the newer sequence plates any better?
  3. @rico I ordered from them yesterday. I think I would be hard pressed to find new Stradas for less $$.
  4. I was using Stargazer with a hand timer in my previous boat and couldn't figure out why the boat seemed to be running through the course "hot". Last year I got a boat with ZO, put in the waypoints and lo and behold, discovered that the course was almost 30 feet too long! I guess that explains why I was skiing so well.
  5. I had an Aqua Sphere 50 that looked very similar to the Camaro. I only got two seasons out of the thin POS.
  6. @skimech I have a 67" 55 that I would be willing to part with, in excellent condition. countymountie at gmail dot com
  7. What type of closure system does the boot employ other than the plastic ratchet buckle on the cuff? I'm not sure about the bar remaining attached to the boot. I think I would probably find some way of skewering myself.
  8. @ Horton How does the S2 compare to a Strada? Currently I'm on a Strada 55 looking for a ski with an easier off side. Also, I noticed that you are on the 67.5 . From what i've read, the 67 is practically a different ski made for "big" boys. ???
  9. Last year I left my brand spanking new SN 200 in the water for a month at a lake closer to home . Much to my dismay, I discovered blistering on the bow (taken care of by CC). Usually I keep the boat on a lift, but that is 3 hours north of me. My options are: 1. Try it again this year and hope for the best. 2. Trailer it from a secured lot a half mile from the lake each time. The downside is that while it would have a mooring cover, it still would be outside. 3. Keep the boat on the shorestation at my lake that is 3 hours north of where I live and get a lot less time on the water.
  10. I wear medium sized Masterline Prolocks. I have found that using a .94 dia handle and keeping the handle at the fingertips, I can go pretty much blister free, glove liner free.
  11. I read that the 67.5 is almost a different ski than the rest of the sizes. Right now I'm looking for a ski that will give me an easier offside that my Strada 55 and am considering a S2. I'm close to 190 lbs now but I think I might demo a 66.5.
  12. Yeah, I've seen one..........its small ;) I think I might try seeing if Radar can go smaller or I might try the triangle and wear down the back two edges.
  13. I was looking at FM's site and it appears that the binding plate doesn't use mounting holes but has slots for the screws. How do you keep the binder from sliding back and forth without cranking down on the mounting screws? One thing that I liked about the new elites coming out is the shell is supposed to be size specific, whereas the FM's come in small, medium, large. That means that it is going to be highly probable that the shell is going to be a size or two than you need and you are going to wind up with some "slop" in the toe.
  14. Unfortunately I'm in the market for a new handle after I left my Masterline handle and gloves in FLA last month. Mine was a .94 diameter. Questions from a newb: A .94 dia isn't approved for tournaments? What do women and people with smaller hands do? My Masterline gloves (the ones like the Clinchers) I have found to be most effective with going with the smallest handle diameter as reasonably possible. The handle will "dig in" to the dowel strap. Smaller is better. The new Radar doesn't go that small. Will a triangle shape work or go with the eliptical? Thanks......
  15. I seem to have the same problem, I'm too far back on my off side coming around the ball. Currently I'm on double RS'1s. both relatively loose. I was thinking if I switched over to a Reflex / Revo front so I could tighten up my front binder might help me and going with a loose RS1 rear. The new Obrien Elites also look like I could keep a tight front binder with a loose rear binder setup. ???
  16. I put a 422 on my 200 and noticed a slight increase on top but the real pay off was seeing a drop in 300 rpm.
  17. Different core, that's all. At the time that I got the 55, I was also considering the Radar Vice. I'm not yet at max speed so I wanted a ski that would not sink as much running slower speeds. I looked at Radars specs for the Sen C vs. the Vice and noted that a 67" Sen C has more surface square inches that a 68" Vice.
  18. Yep, while it's not blinding fast cross course, I find it to be very tolerant of my plethora of mistakes at 30 / 15 off
  19. Got mine. It looks so good on my ski I think I might have to put some sealer on it.
  20. I need one one as a replacement to my AquaSphere, but I heard that Camaro are pricey. Masterline is supposed to be coming out with a .5 suit too. O'Neal has a full suit like a Gooru 1mm closed cell. Â
  21. The first time I flew with a ski, I used a soft sided case. The baggage handlers at Northwest let the conveyor belt burn a hole clean through the bag. Fortunately, there was no damage to the ski. The next year, I went with the sport tube.
  22. I like the concept of using "SeaDek" instead of carpet. I don't care for the current camo pattern, but the grey dek thats on my 200 would work out nice IMO. Drys quick, and is pretty much non-slip. Durability???
  23. 41 off???? WOW! When I take my new Strada 55 down to Jack's next month...........I see 39 going DOWN!!! Uh huh
