  1. @KelvinAdd me to the list of those that are very appreciative of what you and your crew are doing with the webcasts! Thank you so much for all your efforts!
  2. @RobHazelwood A big thanks for all your efforts in providing us with the blogs! I really enjoy them, and have zero criticism. It’s great seeing all that the team experiences in traveling to events, as well as the off water activities that fill your down time, and provide a break from the pressure of competition. Thanks again, and best of luck for the remainder of the season!
  3. Who says tournament participation is down? Over half a million competitors in this year’s nationals! 😲 Not sure how they’re going to get it done in four days, even with four lakes.
  4. Click on “Events” on the USAWS menu. You can then select either “Event Search or Register”, or “Check Registration Status”. Click on the magnifying glass to the right of tournament. You can then select either “Registration Status” or “Seeding” to see entered skiers by division. It’s not a running order. If you select the “Seeding” option though, it shows everyone’s scoring average.
  5. You can see the entry list on USAWS under Events, then “Check registration status.” Click on the magnifying glass. Like nationals, don’t know of any webcast.
  6. Sorry to hear that John! I just got home Friday, after a week’s hospital stay. No timeline for return to skiing, so no nationals for me either. Guess we should have sprung for the extended warranty!
  7. I saw video of it on Instagram. I think it was posted by World Water Skiers.

Glad to hear they worked for you, even though I can’t take credit for the numbers! Just shared. 😊
  9. @lpskier My first tournament I rode a Cypress Gardens El Diablo. The bottom was groovy. My buoy count, not so much.

@skialexI spoke with Will Bush before I rode the ski. These are numbers Will suggested to me for the 67”. 6.925-6.930, 2.460, .735, and 29 15/16-30” FH. First set I rode the Neo as received. 6.928, 2.456, and .758, FH at 30”. I’ve since moved into the range Will provided. I’ve gradually reduced DFT with each set, with the least DFT I’ve tried being .738. (I’ve maintained boot at 30”.) One challenge in honing in on what feels best, has been the fact that in five sets I’ve been behind two boats, and four drivers. Water conditions have been the consistent factor, (very good!), except for today in a strong head/tailwind.

I’m demoing the Neo 2 now. I’ve only had four sets on the ski. Second set on it, I had a five buoy season PB. Neo feels very symmetrical, and definitely generates plenty of angle. I’d been riding a too large for me, Syndicate Works 02 for about a month. Like it as well, but as I said it’s too big for me, so I’ve reached the limit of what I can get out of this Works 02. I’d like to find someone who would trade me this Works 02 XL for a large. I’d been on the Ion S since post nationals 2020, except about six weeks on the NRG 2 in 2021.
  13. So, I figured out that the Works 02 that I purchased off ski-it-again a few weeks ago is not a large (67”), as I thought I was getting, but actually an XL (68”). Just putting it out there, to see if anyone might have a large, but decided that they need an XL, that would be interested in a swap? TIA
  14. Canada also. Jamie Bull discussed this in the TWBC documentary. Medals at worlds earns them money for training.
  15. Yes, Allie joins the women’s 41 club! Jamie goes out right after Allie and runs her second 39 of the day with 1 1/2, to go with a 1 in opening round. The men made history in the first round. The top three seeds, Will, Freddie, and Nate all running 1@43! First time ever in one round, to have three skiers into 43.
  16. Besides the California Pro-Am last, and another record tournament in California following that, I’m not sure if Joel has competed outside of Australia since winning 2019 worlds in Malaysia. Of course he broke his ankle there and had a lengthy recovery. I believe I’ve heard that Joel has a real job.
  17. Yes, that was a 200 that was at least a few years old. It was a closed bow, and Nautique stopped building those when they released the new Ski Nautique in mid-summer 2018, for the 2019 model year.
  18. I have no idea if there are any awards available for this type of documentary, but if so, this needs to be nominated! Well done TWBC crew!
  19. @LuzzThanks for sharing. Really sobering, and great reminder to never take freedom for granted. Praying for all those affected by this horrible situation in Ukraine. 🙏
