  1. That’s Neilly Ross! Drew’s daughter and Charlie’s big sister. She’s an even better tricker. One of the “Big Three” in women’s tricks.
  2. @lpskierJohn, yes! Cool story…Casey skied the last US Open, at Okeeheelee (2016?), I tagged along. I was sitting on the bleachers when this guy carrying a brand new Masterline slalom rope, sat down near me. We exchanged pleasantries. He soon was asking me questions about the event, explaining that his sons were starting to really get into slalom skiing, but he knew little about tournaments. He said he had skied over at the airport Hilton. I introduced him to Casey when he joined me. Bob said he was doing shows at City Place in downtown WPB, and invited us to come that night. We went to the will call window and were escorted to our table. A lady came over and said Bob would like for us to stick around after the show to chat. Bob did a hysterical show. He even wore a hoodie with a slalom skier on it. After the show there was a line of people at a table waiting for Bob to come out of the dressing room. Before meeting with the audience in line, Bob came across the room to visit with us for 10-15 minutes, talking mostly about skiing, while we got dirty looks from the crowd. Lol. Bob’s a “wicked nice guy”!
  3. This one is considered a snowboard case. DaKine makes a 190 cm (almost 75” L), identical version, called the “Fall Line Ski Roller Hardside Bag”. Same price as the shorter snowboard version. Yes, it would take a large vehicle to transport inside, but these cases have built-in recessed handles that can be used to secure to roof rack crossbars.
  4. I bought one after seeing a few skiers with them at a Florida tournament last fall. They all said they really liked them. I haven’t had the chance to travel yet with mine. The two advantages I see of this DaKine bag? It’s not going to come down the carousel in two pieces like a Sports Tube, if TSA doesn’t put the pins back in, and it should provide better protection than a soft bag. I also scored a 20% discount from a retailer during a pre-Christmas sale.
  5. @NaterNo harm in inflating it by adding a few zeros is there? 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  6. @jhartman8We use 3-4’ of rubber tubing to attach our Wally Buoys. On the buoy, we thread the tubing through the attachment hole, then zip tie the tubing a few inches down. On the other end of the tubing, we zip tie a plastic snaphook that clips through a snaphook by the sub-buoy. We buy the snaphooks from Wally Skier.
  7. @teamsharkeyThanks Randy for the post, and photo. Great memories indeed my friend!
  8. A ski? I have four that I’d like to try. LaPoint, Syndicate Works 01 and 02, and D3 NRG R3.
  9. @lpskierThat’s awesome! I have this exact framed photo in my office, (without Andy’s handwritten career highlights or autograph unfortunately).
  10. Now, that’s a timeless, and clean looking boat @rico! Congrats
  11. WakeScout is a resource for information on water ski schools, clubs, resorts, camps, charters, ski boat rentals, cable parks, etc worldwide. You can search by state, country, or continent.
  12. My vote is for either the ones posted by @Hortonor @03RLXi Althought @LoopSki’s design would probably be one of a kind, not sure how great resell value would be. Lol
  13. Two. Bob LaPoint in the mid-70s, and Nate, a few years ago. Both were practice sets at my, at the time, home sites, here in Indiana.
  14. With the plate, or the Porsche?
  15. Red and blue O’Brien Sixam. 2005 HO Monza. Mapple 6.0
  16. I did an eye roll when I opened the survey. Agree with everything @Bruce_Butterfieldand @JackQsaid! Kris LaPoint even mentioned in his recent podcast conversation with Tyler Boyd, that there’s less than a pass difference when you drop the speed. Enough with this topic AWSA!
  17. @LeonL Yes, Pleasant Shores is the McClure’s site.
  18. @Dsully I hope someone suggested she get the tow rope off the tower!
  19. Good score to end on @lpskier!
  20. @LeonL Yes, that sounds about right, as I recall.
