I've got a 2008 that's in excellent condition, and I really can't think of another boat that I would prefer to have. Regardless of $$$

Kinda depends on where you're using them. Public lake, cheapest, private site Wally's.

Yeah, looks like you won't have any problem if one night did that.

@Spencer_Shultz what is going to be your water supply. Surrounding terrain looks flat as a pancake, no apparent watershed.

If you have a Rural King nearby, their, their battery prices are hard to beat.

NHRA just held the Arizona Nationals there last weekend.

Panda, sly grin or not. Sure it can be measured, but no device I've seen is currently compatible. They will require mods.
Oh, and I thought @Horton was the only one who bestowed Pandas.

Every measuring device that I've ever seen at every tournament will have to be re-engineered for this handle.

@m_pags glad to see that you've got a plan going. Maybe I can get back up there next winter.

Sometimes I "split finger" the handle. The equivalent of a split finger on a "T" for me would my hand sliding completely off.

@Horton I don't recall any talk about boat path or wash.

Having experienced some injuries that caused me to regress, my plan is to ski more with the goal of getting back to where I was 2 years ago. Ambitious, but doable I think.

@The_MS longest stretch of below normal temps in FL in over 20 years. Global warming.

Congrats! I've enjoyed BOS for many years. Don't know exactly when I joined. I tried to look it up on my profile and it says 1901. Don't think that's correct, LOL!

So, conversion from a 40 series to an 80 is more than unbolt and rebolt? A conversion kit is required?

@Fbris from what I heard few years back, No. Things may have changed.

"very unusual " in Florida?

Recently had both eyes done. Obviously no mention if skiing, but explicitly said "no weightlifting for 4 weeks". Not skiing season for me, but if if it were I would ski after the 4 weeks. Strain and increased blood pressure and eye pressure are the reasons. Looking forward to ski season, as I was having a hard time seeing buoys in low light/contrast conditions.

floats a foot off the bottom
Once it becomes non buoyant, why does it not go all the way to the bottom?

I understand the loss of stretch due to age. I also think it's much less critical at 15 off. There's so much more rope to stretch. Even with a relatively new rope I can easily feel the difference between 28 and 35, from Deepwater start on.

Do you think a rope suffers in the rare occurrence of being on the shelf at a pro shop for 2-3 years. Probably never happens, but?

You need to PM @skierjp. He will probably see this post though. He lives in Polk county and knows all the details that you need to know..

Between the guides. What @ForrestGump said. Look as far down course as your eyes permit. Pre gates if possible, at least exit gates. Some courses have a large sign of sorts, on the shore directly in line with the center on the boat path. That works really goid.

Also how do I get access behind the linc display to plug in a new antenna. Is there a good procedure for pulling the dash apart.
If you convert to single puck it should be just plug and play under the dash. Of course, you'll have a software update, so not totally plug and play.
What I'm saying us that the wiring shouldn't be different just because of Linc.

Well, from day one my opinion was just how long before problems start arising on micro tuners. Maybe they do some good, maybe a gimmick, but I figured they would fail soon enough.
