  1. Best wetsuit EVER. On my third year on a full Black-Tec. I've got at least one more year in this one. No doubt I will buy this product again.
  2. I've had many wetsuits and drysuits, the full suit Black Tec Camaro is easily the best suit I've ever owned. A little fragile but so far 3 years on the first one and I won't hesitate to buy another one when I decide this one is done. It feels so light that you think the wind will blow right through the material but it doesn't.
  3. Spartanburg has Lake Flumie but I don’t know anybody skiing there currently.
  4. There is a site call Cow Lake with 2012 Nautique 200. I’ll see if I can find contact info. @JohnCox is the person you need to speak with.
  5. Just going to drop this little bit of info here....I've seen 35-40 stitches and almost a section of lip gone from a plop over one time. The skier had successfully ridden out 2 or 3, then sat back on the landing on the next one. The rope came tight and snatched him over the front where he hit somewhere between his upper lip and nose on the front of the skis. Before that I though it was relatively harmless to pull a beginner. The skier was what would have been considered a level 9 slalom skier at the time. That being said, jumping is exciting but the better you get, the more painful the mistakes are.
  6. Trophy Lakes has all kinds of packages PM @adamhcaldwell
  7. Last year Malibu ran from sunup to sundown+, also a tournament on Sunday after Malibu. Charleston is one of the oldest cities in the US, so lots of US history, beaches, seafood, plantations, shopping, cultural events. Tourism is one of the highest revenue producers here...(at least that's what they tell me)
  8. Looks like they were using a section that stayed on the tow bar, my guess is that a non switch rope was used on a switch section. When perfect pass and accuski were in their early days we had a tournament using boats with each. I was in charge of the ropes and noticed 2 top level women skiers (that had skied numerous events at our site) were skiing a pass better than I had ever seen them ski, I went to check to make sure they were using the right rope for each boat. They had gotten them mixed up so we restarted the event. Not saying that happened here but it could have.
  9. Somewhere, I have a video of an elite jumper doing that same thing.
  10. No longer a permanent jump at Trophy Lakes
  11. I've used it on sunglasses and safety glasses with good success.
  12. One other thing, if you ever get the chance @adamhcaldwell is worth the price of admission to watch from the boat.
  13. He was running the Sheet out of it and the other 2 cracks at it looked pretty good as well. Fun tournament with a great group of people and fantastic conditions.
  14. Nobody has more fun skiing than Slade. PM sent
  15. I've had it several times, deep massage of all parts of the foot (especially the bottom). Rolling a golf ball on a rubber mat (bottom of foot massage. Range of motion exercises. I'm a big fan of the boot that @Vsquires referenced as well seems to really help with the mornings which was the worst for me. When I get something like this, I try everything.
  16. A lot of things could affect that, single drop versus crossline, depth, shore access. Where I'm at you could be looking at anywhere from $1500 to $3000 or if I was regularly skiing with you ....nothing. Feel free to message me with any questions.
  17. The sun is going to be tough for them on second and fourth pass this time of day.
  18. What's even more impressive is Fred basically took most of the summer off and just started skiing again about 2 weeks ago.
  19. Lots of clouds, lightning and last view of the sun was hours before the eclipse where I was near Charleston, SC. Disappointed for my wife and daughter but I witnessed one here about 40 years ago.
  20. That driver needs to get his sheet together so Adam can run that pass.
