  1. Results of 1st 2 rounds for OM & OW are on Diablo Website http://www.diabloshores.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Open-Men-2-round.pdf http://www.diabloshores.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Diablo-Shores-Open-Women-2nd-round1.pdf I understand the top 8 OM & OW will ski head to head today. What about MM and or the Legends? Will they ski head to head or are they done? I heard the Legends were at 35 mph. Curious if that is a pure 35 mph or if it is 56kph=34.8 mph or 57 kph=35.4 mph.
  2. @scotchipman when I click on the webcast it showed 9:00 now it says 9:30
  3. If you are injured skiing in a tournament then you should file a medical claim with USA Waterski. It should pay any out of pocket for the co-pay or meeting your deductible. If you were injured skiing behind your own boat then file a claim with your boat insurance company. You will find the Medical coverage is usually up to $5,000 and included on most policies. My Boat US policy covers $5,000 for non-family and $25,000 for family medical. Boat US is fantastic.
  4. @Horton Sorry no pix. Just imagine Surf Expo with a tan and 30% smaller!
  5. I was in FL at the PanAm games last week and saw a skier riding a Monza. He was from Columbia not Bolivia. Also noted that U21 Women from South America ski in very high cut bikinis.
  6. An easy way to remove the impeller is to use 2 paint can lid opener tools. Free at Home Depot.
  7. I googled Malibu Skins and only got a condom shop in California.
  8. I believe the Acrylic is what you want. Black not clear. Most use 400 to 250 when they want it to stay put, but here is a bag of 10' #400 and 10 ' of #170 for $25 https://www.bindingsource.com/Products/productView.asp?categoryID=1828&CategoryName=3M%99+Dual+Lock%99+Trial+Bags&productID=17434&productName=3M%99+Dual+Lock%99+Reclosable+Fastener+TB3551%2FTB3552+Black%2C+400%2F170+1+in+x+10+ft%2C+1+mated+strip+per+bag
  9. Incrementally moved the from binding from -1.5 up to 0 and Strada is working better after each change. Looser cuff helps. Increased release tension from A to almost B after a rag-doll triple tumble at 2nd wake. Ordered a new A2 and will start over this weekend with a new setup. Want to ditch the EXO adapter plate and go straight to the ski inserts.
  10. Thanks @jfw432 Moving the boots forward and canting the back one helped. Next outing we'll loosen the cuffs a bit and see how it goes.
  11. @ShaneH Are you are still on a Strada w/ HO EXO bindings? If so, can you share your binding location and fin setup? Replaced Radar Vectors with a new pair of the 2012 EXO Forms. Ski is a 66" Strada. Front boot was 29" (measured to very back of boot not the sole) and that puts it at -2 on the EXO Frame. Today we will move bindings forward. Yesterday's maiden set ended with a tail-rider thru gates and a big fall at 1 ball. Nice to know the release mechanism works. Front will be -1.5, Rear binding is mounted with the toe touching front binding's heel. Thanks, Jay
  12. I bet the Open Men was fun to watch as Parrish, Parsons and Rossi tied 3-41. Nate Smith had 1.5 - 41. Any reports on the run-off? In 2002 Lago Santa Fe - Open Men Jamie B. 2-41, T. Winter 2-41, Jeff Rogers 2-41, Rossi 1-41

  14. Marc Shaw is keeping scores up to date on his website. www.marcshaw.net Tab through the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en&key=0AosUWMaWcIFtdFVEZ1FKbWs3WnVPaHJzR2ZlNzNBX1E&hl=en&gid=1 and the scores update the sweet 16 brackets automatically https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en&key=0AosUWMaWcIFtdFVEZ1FKbWs3WnVPaHJzR2ZlNzNBX1E&hl=en&gid=2.
  15. I would not go to the effort of draining the tank before changing the filter. What boat make & model? If you are draining the tank, make sure and remove the anti-siphon valve from out-line on fuel tank and de-gunk it with carb & choke cleaner.
  16. Lake Summer Brees Lake SOLA (SOLA = South Louisiana)
  17. I'm recording Olympics on my DVR and was I was looking at cable schedule for sports. Wake Brothers on MTV popped up so I recorded it. Very disappointed that it's not Wilson Brothers' show but there is a parallel for the Soven and Wilson brothers hair. One episode was enough. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/video/phil-bob-soven-mtvs-wake-353145
  18. Congrats on the website growth. I'm sorry to see that The Waterski Forum is closing shop this month. Maybe you should acquire the domain name.
  19. @Bogan This is email I rec'd from Goode in response to fading and repair: The material used by Goode and Overton's should be pretty similar so the fading should be the same. The Goode buoy domes can be turned inside out so that you could use both the inside and outside of the dome if there is any fading. The replacement cost for a single dome would be $20. I bought the buoys that were listed on SIA.

  21. @jjackkrash my Senate C was much improved on offside turns after adding Schnitz Slot Fin
  22. Only 28 skiers in the whole tournament, wonder why it takes so long to post the official scores? At the very least post an "un-official" for the 16. Geez - no wonder you have to wait 16 months to see a Dr and get an MRI in Canada.
  23. Todd Ristrocelli win Big Dawg. Scott Larson 2nd. Dave Miller 3rd, Kelley 4th
  24. http://twitter.com/goodeskis/status/224486084220960768/photo/1/large http://twitter.com/goodeskis/status/224486386017894400/photo/1/large My only mistake in the bracket I posted was #16 seed is Don Beaman with 116 score - not Steve Ware with 115 score. Beaman will ski against Todd Johnson
