  1. Look at www.katyskijam.com for schedule of events.
  2. I have the same gauges but the hour meter display still shows up on occasion. I use the PP hour meter as a reference but the 2 hour meters do not tally the same. When my tach hour meter showed 302, 391, 416 and 473 hours - I read PP hour meter at those periods and it showed 283, 362, 384 and 435. Not sure why the discrepancy and uncertain if it is the same for other versions. Maybe tach hr meter is key on and the other is engine running? My version is 6.4 in a 2002 SN 196 Ltd GT-40. Maybe I'll ask PerfectPass some day.

  4. Your dad's Monza will really be a much better ski if he puts a Schnitz Slot Fin on it. Search this site for Schnitz Monza. BTW: If you ski 3-5 sets a day this weekend through Memorial Day -- you will get some awful blisters :-)
  5. Thanks for the tip. Any comments on the performance of Radar Vector boots vs Animals or Wiley style bindings?
  6. I've got a 2009 Senate C 69" without a fin or fin box. Inserts for HO bindings. Bottom is a 10. Top has no handle pops but does have other issues. Flex numbers are good. Can send photos. $50 plus shipping.
  7. Don't forget to test the Ski Seat XW http://theskiseat.com/ I hear Ski Seat Worlds will be in Dubna
  8. The kid was so excited to have a cool "adult" ski he wanted to use it in the pool before dad got home. First pass he dropped a ski and went 40 ft. 2nd pass he dropped a ski and went 4 lengths of the slalom lake. Next attempt was a deep water start and he got up the first time. He crossed the wakes, did spins around the islands and was beaming when he finally dropped near the dock.
  9. @Horton - Thanks but a 62" ski is too big for the kid right now. Maybe in the future. MAD11 cut down a Goode ski for his daughter who made rapid advancements. This X5 Nomad is for an 8 yr old neighbor kid who is riding combo trainers. I think we will try to position front binding where the ankle bone is at the ski balance point. It was interesting to dissect the discarded tail of the ski. Split it longitudinally on the fin box.
  10. Trying to make a slalom ski for a kid. I cut down an adult slalom ski that broke behind the from binding. That leaves me a 50 inch ski. Rounded the back and covered it with JB Weld. Cut in a new fin box slot. Now my question is -- where to position the front binding? Without the fin box the ski balances out at 25 inch from the tail.
  11. Seems like a good reason for him to join BOS. I've got it listed on ski-it-again too. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Misc&postid=15921

  13. Radar uses inserts for the bindings AND the fin box... I put numerous metal inserts in several Goode skis and none of them rusted, and the inserts were the the cheap ones. Send it back
  14. The Dock Starter got sun tan lotion on my handle. Or do like the North Koreans and blame lightning: BBC – North Korea’s coach blamed his side’s 2-0 loss to the United States on his players getting struck by lightning in the build up to the Women’s World Cup. Kwang Min Kim claimed that some of them were hospitalised with electrocution after a training match on 8 June. “When we stayed in Pyongyang during training our players were hit by lightning, and more than five of them were hospitalised,” said coach Kim, without naming the affected players specifically. “Some stayed in hospital and then came to Germany later than the rest of us. The goalkeeper and the four defenders were most affected, and some midfielders as well. The physicians said the players were not capable of participating in the tournament. “But World Cup football is the most important and significant event for a footballer, so they don’t want to think about anything but football.”The fact that they played could be called abnormal, the result of very strong will.”
  15. This will not work for hard contacts. If they are soft lens contacts: Before your first deep water start, try opening your eyes briefly while under water. The contact will grip on to your eye and set in place. If you ever take a shower and try to remove your contacts immediately afterwards, you'll see how well they adhere.
  16. @lakeoneskier - It was parked with the other boats and empty trailers. It was unfair what I said about the sight lines since the boat was on a trailer. The bow will rise enough when pulling a skier to give the driver a good field of vision through the windshield. I believe you can buy the promo anytime during the season. Most other promos seem to be available after Nationals.
  17. Crawled around this boat at the Houston Big Dawg. Nice looking work boat. I don't need a stereo, ski storage or an ice chest. I liked the clean lines and the ballast tank. The rubber flooring was too hot on the feet. Good price point. I'm tall and sight lines from driver's seat were not as good as the 196. I'll drive/ski it before I buy my next boat.
  18. Give us a review. Do you think it will work with a Schnitz Speed Slot Fin? I got an EZ Fin tool and had to modify it for the Schnitz fin.
  19. http://www.goode.com/images/wstm100101rev001.pdf Binding Installation For pre-9800 model skis that you are not using the PowerShell or the PowerPlate System then your bindings should can be installed using #10 stainless steel sheet metal screws, 1/2" long. (9800, 9800SL, 9900SL's must NOT be screwed into. Use only PowerShell or the PowerPlate Systems.)
  20. http://skibigdawg.com/entries2011.html The entries are posted. Jim Kilsdonk is will skip. He is coaching in France. Missing Matt Brown.
  21. After greasing the rudder. Disconnect steering cable from the rudder. Turn the wheel & if it is difficult to steer replace the cable.
  22. Shane, Quit reading SkiFly ;-)... It is the TMZ of watersports and they bash BOS. (joke)
