  1. No it does not. Just compared how you ride your 14 vs stock 14 and converted new numbers to reflect that.
  2. @gavski based on your 15 numbers, I'd go: 29.75" 2.460 6.960 0.735 9
  3. This app rocks. See you all there
  4. @AndersonSkiTeam I'd start at: 30" 2.460 6.960 0.740 9
  5. Thanks to everyone who has participated in this thread and purchased the new ski. This has been a great start for the ski and I look forward to seeing what the summer brings! Horton...scotch? Not my thing, but if you want to sip on burnt mossy gasoline, that's your prerogative.
  6. Thanks @markchilcutt @Milford @parkerc2112 for your support. @DanE not sure what happened. Hope the factory has sorted you out. If not, pm me and I'll help figure things out.
  7. @paul413ski glad to have you back riding Radar! I am stoked with the response this ski has generated!
  8. @condorpilot I agree with @eddie_roberts_jr. Go 67" with no reservations!
  9. Thanks for the great reviews @Texas6 and @ToddL. I would add that I'm running more buoys on the new ski AND feeling a substantial reduction in body fatigue. This has allowed me to ski more sets during the week which is giving me more shots at my hardest pass.
  10. @gmut what size 2015 do you need numbers for? @skihard thanks for the kind words. @markchilcutt just to set the record straight, I designed the flat concave in the tail of the new Vapor for performance reasons. Its a nice sidebar that it makes measuring dft insanely easy and reproducible.
  11. Glad to hear you like the new ride @Texas6! All of the time and effort that goes into the design and production of these skis is worth it when I hear comments like yours. Thanks for riding Radar.
  12. Thanks for the feedback @jhughes. Glad you like!
  13. Love the stoke @markchilcutt! @ironhorse glad to have you riding the ski! Make sure to heat mold those liners for a better fit. My boots feel too short when I first get them but after heat molding the boots, they fit perfect.
  14. @swc5150 Looks like you are ready to take that ski for a rip! Have fun!
  15. Can't wait for this event! Crescent Bar is a magical place to spend a weekend and home to a strong waterskiing community. I hope to see you all there.
  16. @swc5150 Id start with 29" 2.460, 6.960, 0.730 9degrees
  17. @swc5150 did you end up getting a 65 or 66? Glad you are liking the ski @BRY.
  18. @swc5150 how tall are you? I'm thinking 66.
  19. @Zoro957 We have made many modifications to the glove to make them the best fitting, best performing glove out there. You should give them another try when the time comes.
  20. I would like to comment on the dowel/no dowel issue. It is my belief that the main purpose of the dowel is to make the tether shorter. In most cases, shorter tether makes the wrist strap take more of the power, reducing the needed grip strength to hold on. For those that use a thin diameter handle, the dowel helps provide the best holding power as it makes the tether the proper length. For those that prefer a larger diameter handle, the dowel could make the tether strap too short which reduces its holding ability and increases the needed grip strength to hold on.
  21. @Ed_Johnson I would say go 68. Especially if you like the 68 Mapple.
  22. @BRY glad you are liking the new ski! Same to you @SkiJay. @DanE I believe a 67 will suit you well.
  23. @WBLskier The 2016 Vapor is designed to start turning earlier in the turn cycle so that it is ready to go at the back side of the buoy. It also is designed to hook up with less pressure on the body. The result is that your ski will be finishing closer to the buoy without the big hits allowing you to ski a more upcourse line, regardless of the line length you ski at. The ski is also designed to be more supportive in the tail (shape and rocker update) to help reduce tail riding. It is more forgiving, easier on the body, and runs more buoys than previous Vapor/Strada models. Do any of you Ballers that have made the jump to the 2016 have more helpful insight for @WBLskier?
  24. Great start to that 41 Ward! This ski is designed so that you may come up at centerline (behind the boat) and then cast out to the buoy. As I've experienced, this plays perfectly into zero off and how and where it likes the skier load. The new ski casts out extremely well so the only adjustment you will need to make is to trust to come up at centerline. As you all can see in the video, the other changes to the ski help to make it turn on a dime as well. My new thought process on this ski is to shift my power band so that it starts earlier (closer to buoy) and finishes earlier (centerline). When I trust this, I am continually blown away at how easy it is to get out to the buoys and make up course, tight turns at 41. This will apply to your hardest pass no matter what the speed/line length.
