  1. @UCFskier I think it’s important at big events to get the call right. If there is clear video evidence it should be used to make sure the best skier on that day wins. There is nothing worse than putting in all the hard work and time only to be robbed of a title by a bad call.
  2. You either got around the buoy or you didn’t. I would not want a score I didn’t actually achieve, especially at another competitors expense.
  3. Find a Goode mid fire. Cheap, stable, very forgiving, easy get ups and turns great. Check the bargain closet on the Goode website or ski it again.
  4. I hate to have to agree with Horton. At least we can disagree about the Warp. That ski is terrible I almost fell going around the island. I have seen the pineapple ski in person. It is beautiful. The carbon work is flawless and a different design.
  5. I hate that I have to agree with Horton. I joined him for a ride with Terry and had been in a slump. Terry told me a few things that clicked and reset my skiing. I got a personal best for the year and got nearly the same score the next day. Horton actually told me something he saw that helped me but I never recommend listening to him. He is annoying and selfish with his skis.
  6. @teammalibu awesome. @Horton and spell the answer correctly @csb146 move it 1 screw hole and do the eye doctor test. Better or worse? Just move one thing at a time. I think the holes are usually 3/16 but I am not positive.
  7. @Horton I already addressed your false allegation. You are weird and make things up, perhaps senile or having realistic nightmares. Now, please loan me the ski.
  8. @Horton Many people have pointed a gun at you. Even more people want to point a gun at you. You are weird and make things up. Yes you should loan me a ski.
  9. I don’t remember saying his ski reviews were inaccurate. In general, I try not to agree with Horton.
  10. It does not look like the driver intended to give an advantage to the skier. As you know, even the best drivers have a bad day, get out of sync with the skier or get a crappy boat with play in the steering. I have a lot of respect for most of our drivers. I am not as skilled as they are and it is not for lack of trying.
  11. I had one in my hands yesterday but sadly it was a 66. The pro skier that it belonged to had nothing but good things to say about the ski.
  12. No. Way too boring and too much down time.
  13. @horton you should do a poll to see if people think your spelling has gotten worse, stayed the same or gotten better.
  14. It was one of the most fun ski rides I have ever had. The owners and their neighbors at Cedar Ridge are the most hospitable people you will ever meet. I highly recommend. The Natchez Trace is beautiful and worth seeing on the way there.

    D3 Ion

I have watched three different skiers who are not usually on a D3 ride the Ion and all three liked it.
  16. Is the xtr a mid ride mold? 66.5 9960 mid? I still have chads old 66.5 9900 midride. I just can’t let it go. @Horton if this is the same but updated core I must have it. Fritz and I are riding my scooter down to Bako to get it.
  17. 68 T2 is still the best ski I have ever ridden. I had 3 and just sent one to an undisclosed location in northwest Louisiana for testing.
  18. Great comments above. What the pros ride influences me very little because I am not a pro and they are super talents and can ski on anything. There skis are rarely stock. They get custom layups and/or try many skis from the same mold to find the one that works. Riding the skis is the only way to tell which ones are better for me and then trying to borrow them from Horton is the most difficult part.
  19. @Horton I know. That’s why it’s funny
  20. Who is PaulCrawford? Is that Ryan Nason’s only friend?
  21. I skied on the T2 the last four days. It feels really good. I spent a couple years on a Goode and a HO A2 I borrowed from Horton. I would ride the HO during the week and switch to the Goode on Friday and tournaments because it was more forgiving.
  22. @thager for some reason Horton says I am not welcome there and he won’t let me near his skis. He is selfish.
  23. I don’t feel like anything is wrong with my ski I have just been wondering if I would ski better or more consistently on a new one.
