@wish , I watched for a bit at O’Hare this morning. Son was rolling his eyes. ?

Muffler pipe, a few eye hooks and a few bungies. $40 total. May not look the greatest but works very well.

@Spencer_Shultz , any footers in the current family or extended ski group? If there are go as long as the property will allow. We did a lake with a group that included a few footers years ago and made it 2400. Unfortunately it included islands so yeah, way too long for slalom setup but since you are forgoing islands you can make your setup whatever you want it to be.

@unksskis , I just turned 59, Dr is a Ortho surgeon solely focused on cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
@dave2ball , Ball of Spray doesn't count as a second opinion? ;) I'm researching the heck out of this now what I know what it is, and yes, looking for a formal second opinion. Definitely not rushing into this; learned that painful lesson on a foot issue a few years ago.

Last May I tweaked my lower back pretty good, never felt pain like this before. Rested it, iced it, heated it, stretched it, did a few months of therapy, no improvements. Other than few gingerly ski runs in Sept I was off the water the entire summer last year.
Finally went to my GP and then a specialist in October who ordered an MRI which showed a compression fracture of the L4 vertebrae. It was not a normal outward type fracture but rather a fracture on the top of the vertebrae which allowed the disc above to seep down into the vertebrae. Technically I believe its called a Schmorl’s Node. He recommended continued rest, minor stretching to keep it loose, over-the-counter pain meds if needed, etc. and we would review it again in a few months.
Had another MRI last week and met with the specialist yesterday. Basically, there is no change, no improvement, and he has now suggested 3 options:
If there’s anywhere to ask about back issues, this is surely the place. ? Has anyone here had, or know anyone, who has had a Kyphoplasty procedure done? If you have what was your experience: good? bad? risks? recovery?

I picked it up in July (we suspect in Jackson, Wyoming) and had pretty much every symptom with the exception of lung issues, never had any problems breathing. I was down for two weeks, the first week I do not even remember. One of the worst symptoms I had was a full front and back upper body rash; itched like he!!. From what I've read that only occurs in about 8% of those who have the virus. Lucky me.
Since then I've been experiencing various lingering issues. This is some bizarre stuff.
My son (18 years old) also tested positive at the same time but had zero symptoms. :)

I met Ron back in 2000 and I remember thinking man, I hope I'm still skiing at that age!'. Very cool that 20 years later I'm still thinking the same thing. Although I don't think I'll make it to 90. :#

@Zman , thanks John, I've now got it listed there.
@liquid d , thanks, will list there too.
@LoopSki , the only way I could afford to move back to No CA would be if I lived in this thing. ;)

I'm trying to sell my travel trailer and have not had much activity using Craigslist and FB Marketplace. I've been looking at a few RV specific sites and they all want a fee; the more you pay, the more pics you can post, the longer it runs, etc.
Before I start signing up on one (or more) has anyone had success with selling a Travel Trailer, 5th wheel etc, on one of these sites? RVTRader.com? RVT.com? Others?
Thanks, Clay
Note: I've always supported and appreciated Ski-It-Again. More so now.

@owennibley ,
I had a nice time meeting and hanging out with Scott, great guy. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.
He showed me pics of your '92 ProStar. If you ever think of selling it let me know!

Just curious.... does anyone here know Scott Baker? Lives and skies near Ogden, UT I believe.

I skied for YEARS with a very similar upper back/neck pain. Just thought that was the way it would always be. Finally found a chiropractor who worked with me to isolate the target muscle and not put me on a ‘maintenance plan’. We figured out the muscle (supraspinatus), he taught me how to stretch it, and I’ve now skied 15 painless years. As long as I stretch it before my set I’m good. If I rush and don’t stretch it, guaranteed pain the next day.
You are 45 (which is about the age I figured it out). No offense but you are ‘older’ than ya used to be. How much are you stretching before your set?
Do all the yoga and other recommendations you want, but if you’re not taking the time to properly stretch before your set don’t be surprised if it continues.
Just my opinion FWIW.

@jimbrake , I had a similar thought when I saw the first picture in this thread, that you could 'tilt' (for lack of a better term) the tail which would create an asymmetrical flow. Then noticed it was the swapping of fixed tails.
