I knew that. ;-)
Thanks @MattP.

@supersonicus, you tired of the Monte Carol already? ;)

'01 promo boat. Still skis, drives and looks as good as it did when I picked it up 15 years ago.

Agree with @foxriverat, cold and misting all day but we had a great time. I was going to say meeting Horton was the highlight of the day, but then April came by to serve us sandwiches.

@CanadianBaller,
I've been meaning to respond to your email but work has been crazy the past month. Major project wrapped up this morning and I'm now decompressing via BOS this afternoon.
As I had mentioned I researched quite a few lakes prior to moving up from Houston a few years ago. I've also learned more about Water's Edge and Ninovan Lake Estates (one that was not on your list).
Sorry for the delay, I'll put something together in the next day or so. Commute from Sunset to Chicago is definitely do-able; my office is right next to Millennium Park and I have a 20 minute commute. :)

Slightly back on topic.... ;) ... what is the responsibility of the boat driver in a case like this?
Last Sunday I was sitting on my dock watching my neighbor ski and there was a family of ducks slowly cruising in front of the 4 ball towards the boat path. When she hit the second wake she noticed them directly in her path, screamed, and took a nasty fall to avoid them.
Not sure what the driver was focused on but they were hard to miss. If you were the driver what would you have done?

I have an '01 RLX, here is what my PP setup looks like. Don't know if that helps you at all.

@MDL, damm jumpers, you're no better than the tubers, surfers and boarders! :-)
@zman, it may be June but we had a 31 degree windchill a week and a half ago!

Our lake is considering using a new dye that I'm not familiar with: Sapphire Bay. Has anybody here used this product? Any feedback?
https://www.lakerestoration.com/p-39-sapphire-bay.aspx
Historically we've used AquaShade, 9 gallons has done a good job. The rep pushing Sapphire Bay is saying we'll need 16 gallons. Total cost of 16 gallons of Sapphire Bay is a bit less than 9 of AquaShade.

Thanks @E_T

Does anyone here ski on Lake Keowee (South Carolina) or know if there is a slalom coarse located anywhere on the lake?

I'm about to order foam boat guides from skier to skier. One hit from the wally's next door and the inflatables are done, I'm hoping I can get more use out of the foamies.
Anyone else use these?

This may be an unanswerable question, but how do these things fit? I'm tired of buying larges that are too small and x-larges that are too big.

LX hull with some LXi/TXi bells and whistles.
