..bump...
Five pre-cancer spots frozen this morning. Now if they could only do something about the age spots... ;-)

@SprayingSab ,
Message sent.

Should have waited to fill out the census.

Silver Sun Skis
The logo would somehow embed a slalom course in the six curves of the three S's.

Thanks @lhoover and @unksskis , I'll give Lowell a call.

Anyone here a member at the Dallas/FW area Metroplex Water Ski Club? I've got a few questions that I cannot find answers for on their website.
Thanks.
-
@CHodge , see your email.
-
@CHodge , I've not been on BOS for awhile, just sent you an email.
@IGski , yep, you know that boat! And yes, looking to sell. Just don't use it enough so going to downsize. I should call Jeff and try to get my old one back. :wink:
-
@CHodge , are you looking for that particular boat or any 2016? I know a guy...
-
Looks like Tesla's new tournament ski boat.

Southwest Chicago 'burbs. Mowed the lawn yesterday. In shorts. WTF.

@Zman ???

@hammerski , I gave you a 'awesome' for the boat AND the site. I've always wondered what the place looks like, looks great.
Bought my boat from Scott Thompson a few years ago and I have your course and a few others from that area still mapped in my Zero Off.

Am I the only one who watched it 3 times before realizing what it was? :D

That guy has a great youtube channel. I want his job.

Don't know much about GR accommodations or skiing, but Founders Brewing Company is a nice place to hang out. :)
-
@LoopSki ,
Yep, you're right. I knew that was Pleasant Grove but just glanced at the two and assumed Stillwater. I hit that guy up once too, back in '99 before I found Stillwater. He had no interested in letting anyone ski there.
-
The 2 'accidental' lakes used to be known as Stillwater Ranch. I was a member there from '00 to '03; wow, lots of great people, great skiing and great times.
Last I heard the longer lake was sold and converted to a cable park, but the other was still a membership only lake?

+1 for Liquid Edge. If you want to get your hands on skis, bindings, gloves, ropes, etc before you buy Liquid Edge has one of the better selections in the area. Large selection for slalom skiers, not just tubes and weekend warrior gear.
While you are there get a lesson from Doug, great guy, full of good information.

I first saw the leadwake bags last month while in Dallas, stopped by The Slalom Shop and they must have had 200 of them on the floor. Nice compact package. Ordered four 50 #'ers a few days ago. Can't wait to try them as my ski partner weighs 220 and I can definitely feel a diff in the wake when going L to R vs R to L.
Side note... they really need to change their name... they had 1 slalom ski, a 3 year old HO VTX sitting high on a shelf. I only saw it after I gave them crap about not having a single slalom ski and they said sure we do! ;-)

It was live via YouTube.

Does anyone here ski at Dean's Lake?
I'm in the area this week and dropped by tonight and no one was around. This may be a relocation option for us in a year and was hoping to get some info.

With yet another cold/rainy/windy Chicago day and day 2 of foot surgery recovery, I woke up in a crappy mood. But it could not have worked out any better; I spent the ENTIRE day with @TonyLightfoot and Swiss Pro Slalom on the big screen. Thanks guys for all your efforts to share some great skiing with us!
