  1. So here is another Tfactor Tip ! @Drago you will like this one, regularly take your binding/bindings off and check the screws underneath, they come loose and eventually wreck the holes they screw into, the Tfactors are a Great Binding but you need to do Maintenance.
  2. @LeonL here you go pictures of the mod, I decided to do when the left side started to separate where it was stitched, any modification anybody chooses to carry out , they carry out individually and take full responsibility for, this is just a visual reference to show people what I choose to do.
  3. Regarding Tfactor here,s a useful tip for the Wrap, especially the new type with no slots,. Stay away from the stitching and cut down the sides 1/2 to 5/8 inch and finish with a u shape, think the whole thing on mine is about 1 inch or just over, doesn't really affect the binding, but does help prevent the rubber splitting where it is stitched on the sides, less strain when you put your foot in and out of the binding. I will try and post piccy
  4. Personally if, I just tighten my screws , not too tight, my rear rtp finds it natural position (slightly canted) and then I tighten up, not only a natural stance for the individual, but less stress on the ankles and knees. If you stand with one foot behind the other, the rear foot will not be straight.
  5. Thanks for all the info Guy,s, definitely a Gland, Boat must of been put together, right on the Bubble when they moved to Dripless . @jhughes on the positive side, will not have to drop the Rudder and Pull the Shaft 😀
  6. @jhughes OK will have to revisit as we tried to replace the gland with. 3/16 that was supplied, no water cooling and looks like normal gland type arrangement.
  7. Thanks Guys will try to source the 1/4 thought the 3/16 was suspect when the Main Dealer supplied it, the problem being they are not boat people just salesman and mechanics( car)
  8. Hi Ballers Just picked up 2017 Nautique closed bow, would anybody be able to tell me what size gland is required , the one supplied to me continues to leak, think they come as 3/16 or 1/4 in size, any help would be appreciated, I was supplied with 3/16, can't get it to seal. Thankyou
  9. The question of 41 off earlier in this thread, when it comes to the men, clearly the skiers consistently getting deep or through the pass, not only have the talent but are on other makes of ski, if one of the Top Six Skiers we're on a Radar, how likely is it that they would run 41 off ? I have ski buddies on the EVO, who constantly shove the Podium and 41 off in my face, they have D3 inscribed on their internal organs, I personally struggle with the D3 and much prefer the Radar, I do wonder why some of the Top Pros seem to go the D3 route.
  10. I have used Helicoil kit before now, also have drilled and tapped one size up, Performance sell the complete fin block/fin/wing https://perfski.com/products/radar-2023-pro-comp-adj-fin?_pos=4&_sid=c054b7198&_ss=r
  11. @ETskier If you are a Radar person, pay the extra and buy a 2023, I am tottaly stock short and deep, front boot Tfactor @ stock RTP rear. 67" ski Loving it.!
  12. @Horton I will give it a go on 7, not wanting to waste too many sets, the weather for us this year has been poor, if it's not raining it's strong head and tail wind, like 12mph gusting to 22mph, not a good year, skiing has been sporadic, ski fitness and consistency has been difficult.
  13. @Horton maybe 7 or 8 degrees with fin fwd 5 thou or Front boot back a little, any thoughts ?
  14. @HortonMaybe just me or maybe the Vapor is more sensitive , when I went to 8 degrees the ski felt like it was stuck on the pullout and the off side, the ski felt like there was too much tip in the water, it turned and turned hard, but I wasn't, liking the feel of the ski, any recommendations welcomed, I am fairly strong and ski with too much aggression, I think that is why it works for me, if I back off as people suggest, I do not run passes, but a ski with less drag would be appreciated, then I could work on less effort.
  15. @Iski61 @LeonL is spot on, it is critical, to stop your back shoulder getting peeled in after the second wake on your way to the bouy + carry the handle wider and reach when you are adjacent to the bouy, this will ensure that you have enough width and speed to make a good turn, I still have my Radar Pro on stock setting with 9 degrees wing, if you work on picking up the pendulum of the boat, you do not really feel the effect of drag, the Radar Pro creates plenty of speed for 32mph.
  16. Hello Good People We took delivery of a new Nautique 200, nice boat, on delivery the Dealer Mapped the boat, then somebody else mapped it, so we had two maps in the system, when I skied behind it , felt terrible and couldn't work out what was going on, until the driver, said that the boat was alternating between maps. We deleted both maps from the system and remapped the course , so that there was just one map, the problem has re-appeared, generally after skiing a novice with zero off turned off, or though there is only one map the boat replicates the same behaviour, as if there was conflict between two maps. Has anybody come across this, is there a fix, I do not want to keep remapping the course, after skiing a novice.
  17. So with the possibility of Litigation, why produce open bow boats, if you want extra storage in the front put a lid on it. Sometimes people just do not think it through. Money Money Money ! On a slightly different note, how many skiers do you see, skiing straight towards the dock when they have finished, some of them not looking that stable, Doh !
  18. Thanks for replies, had somebody sit in and watch, after 12 passes and a discussion, he noted that from odd to even bouys, I was Front foot dominant to the point where my back foot didn,t come into play, heel was lifted with no pressure on it. Resulting in me getting peeled in heavily on the front foot into 2 and 4 ball I have started to change the way I hook up 1/3/5 going to evens, both feet planted, feels odd but the ski seems more efficient + 2-4 ball much better hook up. Concertrating on keeping outbound shoulder high. Thankyou again for responses.
  19. Managed to get the rear foot closer to the front boot, has helped smooth things a bit, I am not feeling any tail slide on either side tho.
  20. I am S/D on the fin, the ski feels solid, the offside is money, think I will go with @jjackkrash and look at DFT, consider a move to L/S would be a bigger change than 3-5 thou on the DFT. I pretty much like the ski as is, apart from the small glitch.
  21. Nowadays, I generally do not mess with my fin too much, running a 2023 Radar Vapor Pro on stock settings including bindings. I seem to struggle getting a smooth hook up at the end of my onside turn, I always get a bit of a jolt, not too big but it,s annoying, like the ski has stalled a little. It,s very likely to be where I am on the ski, but is there a fin movement that may help the ski come through for a smoother hook up ?
  22. @BraceMaker They can run the speeds 34mph and 36mph but generally owners like to keep the speed down, when they run it at higher speeds, it cause issues with the guides/bearings and increases maintenance + breakdowns. They earn more money, with less issues, operating slower speeds and towing up to eight wakeboarders at a time. Thorpe Ski in the UK, used to operate slalom on the cable, but not now, wakeboarders are where the money is. I used to slalom on the cable and then decided to ski behind the boats, what a wake up call, it took me a while to adapt, with the cable it,s a softer pull , you can literally lay on the line, not sure but there must be 1-2 metre give, if not more in the line. When other people are on the cable "Scenario" You are going down the front side , somebody coming down the back stretch, gives it a tug at the right time ,they can send you straight out the front. It is normal etiquette to stay in a straight line down the back stretch, but there is always some Joker around who thinks it's funny, unless it's competition, then it doesn't happen.
  23. Piriformis is the biggest contributer to back pain, if it is not a skeletal problem, piriformis stretches generally help a lot, there are several variations to, help hit the spot and to help find the one you can achieve, depending on your mobility. Can,t believe the pain you can get in your back from a stressed muscle deep in your buttock.
