  1. Hi Ballers Nautique 200 (approx 2 years old) Cautionary Info, we had a oil pump failure, which required a engine replacement, then with 800hrs it happened again, fortunately there was still some warranty left on the boat, we religiously change the oil and maintain the boat to a high level. Oil pressure is indicated on the screen as KPA and not PSI, typically 140 KPA is Approximately 20 PSI What I am suggesting is that you monitor your KPA it might save you a new engine. Our failures seemed to be instant not gradual though. Hopefully the Engine suppliers, will get the issue sorted.
  2. Such a wide range of different things to get into, some, activities cost of equipment only, no Lake/Boat/Driver required. Typical examples kite surfing, cycling, mountain biking, etc Water Skiing has become very expensive, I have recently been told that there is a place in california, for a walk in six pass set they want $140. 🙄
  3. Skiers, Skis, have improved and moved with the times, quite clearly the Masters Setup has not. No improvements from the organisers, clearly they have not moved with the times, knowing the issues, they have not made any improvements, is it Lack of Funds, Lack of Interest or Lack of Know How. Organisers at other Lakes are constantly looking to improve their setup, I have been to one lake and spent over a Hour in the water, because the Owner wanted all the bouys set at exactly the same height, boat lane included, it wasn't, a case of that will do, it had to be right. Attention to Detail, makes a Good Experience for All. As Others have pointed out, there are Solutions to overcome some of the issues at Robin Lake.
  4. If a Top Competitor is denied the chance to compete, then it devalues the Event, if you win a event and the field was restricted, to a lot of top competitors, it is not classified as a win, to be the Best you have to beat the Rest. Words are just Words, if somebody strikes somebody, physically threatens, or verbally threatens somebody, that's a whole different world. On Reflection maybe six of one and six of the other. The whole thing, just does not help the Sport, saddened by the whole thing, it seems the Masters is one of those events, that just cannot get it right, always some sort of controversy.
  5. Ok so Freddie has been Banned from the Masters, for what ever reason, moving on, why the ban on other Nautique Events for him, by the way The King Of Darkness Event was spot on and the Mastercraft performed and looked Awsome , would love to see more of the Mastercraft, it's a Great Boat to drive and ski behind.
  6. @ColeGiacopuzzi Hi there, after claiming the 2023 was not turning for me , I rechecked the fin which was incorrect, the ski now turns, may be a little too much, not the smoothest of hook up, (sometimes but not consistent) I would like to back it off just a little, are we looking at a fin adjustment or binding movement ? still on stock Short and Deep Many Thanks Stevie
  7. Lots of valid points, I am sure people are saying "I Wish That" or "If Only" but regardless of the outcome, Right or Wrong, why did the Officials knowing that the whole Scenairio was a bag of worms, not take a time out to, establish some sort of calm, was it Nautique or was it the Officials that Initiated the call for a ban. Sometimes life is not fair and eventually we have to live with the final outcome on that day. Why Ban the Athelete who had the misfortune to be involved in failures and errors outside of their control. I still cannot get my head around the Ban !
  8. I am sure there is a lot going on behind the scenes and various communications being made to the IWWF,with this in mind it is unlikely the people involved will come forward and make any form of statement, the question is will the IWWF review events and act in a positive, fair and unbias way without being influenced by a outside party.
  9. @lpskier I think you are spot on, with the Judges, but why did Nautique get involved, if there were no actions that brought Nautique into disrepute, what grounds do they have to interfere. I,m done with this one now, moving on.
  10. Does the Rule Book not say, in these circumstances the Skier should get the benefit of the doubt or a ReRun ? Does Nautique have the right to ignore the rules and become Judge and Executioner ? Is there a separate set of rules specific to the Masters ?
  11. Or though, I respect the time and efforts officials put in, unfortunately we have seen some , questionable decisions in the past, that may have cost Athlete's a Title or a place on the Rostrum, resulting in loss of prize money or sponsorship deals. Throw Passion and the feeling of injustice into the mix and emotions take over. Unfortunately those involved on both sides, can over react, but ultimately there are no winners, everybody loses.
  12. Left Hand Steering, Right Hand Throttle and Stop Watch
  13. @coach3 I will have a look next time I ski, the weather here has been awful, apart from being chilly, the last 10 days or so have been windy with rain. Front Tfactor with RTP running stock numbers short and deep
  14. @ColeGiacopuzzi Hi the water temp here is about 8 degrees at the moment, 2023 Vapor Pro 67, little reluctant to turn, any suggestions regarding fin settings. Thanks
  15. Just thought I would post this, looks like somebody had their Slalom, Trick and Jumpers Stolen. They posted it on Ski It Again, I dont know how to put the Link here, but the listing number is below. POST ID: SIA65878 CATEGORY: Slalom I am reaching out to the ski community for help. Between Dec 24, 2022 and Jan 2, 2023 my enclosed trailer was stolen from a storage unit in Biloxi, MS. ALL of my competition ski equipment was STOLEN and has yet to be recovered. Please be on the look out for some very nice 84 inch goodman jumpers with small or xsmall bindings, brand new Masterline 3 event bag with a brand new jump rope and handle. Shred ready helmet, eagle shorty jumpsuit, black and pink. Early 2000s D3 trick ski and D3 x7 slalom ski with XS Wiley bindings. Black and white trick rope and handle. Syndicate black and pink women's M? vest. I doubt the criminals know about ski-it-again. I am checking Marketplace and offerup daily, craigslist and ebay occasionally. Please, please message me right away if you see any suspicious postings. I was already planning to buy a new slalom ski this year but I doubt I will be a three eventer if I am not able to recover at least part of my gear. Insurance companies will only cover so much and I can't afford to replace an entire household along with all my ski gear. Maybe with some luck we can catch these idiots.
  16. Slightly different approach, regardless of speed, is it more important you arrive at a point in which you know you are going to make a good turn and finish at a point that you can hook up and go again,
  17. Still looking to have my first ride on the 2023 Radar Pro, the weather is really cold at the moment, I do know somebody who was fortunate enough to get one before general release, he ran 39.5 off on his first set, a pass which was not guaranteed, his percentage increased to around 90%
  18. @thagerDo you have any insight into which implant you had fitted and which procedure quad sparing or straight down the middle, robotic, custom jig or freehand surgery ?
  19. @ColeGiacopuzzi Thanks appreciated , right foot forward, do I start with long /shallow, or short /deep.
  20. Because there is no Demo available in my location, based on Hortons review and the comments above, I have taken a leap of faith and spent a considerable amount of my hard earned cash, very pretty ski, blue/white. My only disappointment was that there were no Radar Socks in the Box !
  21. Hello, Good People, I hope your preparations for the new season are going well. I would like to ask if the 2023 Vapor Pro is a better choice than the 2022 Vapor Pro, following amendments made to the ski, or is there little difference, has anybody skied on both or can give a measured response. I have heard different things, but Hortons review, of the 2023 Vapor Pro, seems to be positive, some people, not all people may I add, that I spoke to, were not too sure about the 2022 Vapor Many Thanks
  22. Just thought , I would throw this in, please be gentle, so by applying increased load into the centre line, can be achieved in different ways, if applying pressure with your legs, back and shoulders, the ski is likely to be on a steeper axis, the resistance would be directly against the boat, you would be heavy on the line, but if you apply load with your hips up and shoulders away, maintaining leg stance, the ski axis would be reduced, you would be lighter on the line, resulting in more efficient accleration and swing around the pylon. I think leaning harder would create more speed, but not if you are using a counter productive method.
  23. I would like to get Nates take on this, several Pro,s, I have spoken to, have made comment on how efficient Nate is, when crossing the course. My take is that Lean should match the Load, if you Lean too much for the line length and load, the boat will take control at the centre line, if you Lean too little you will just get pulled over. People are always trying to get me to lean less, working on the theory Less is More. My other thoughts are, if the ski is at less angle (meaning edge),it would ride higher and therefor be faster, another plus for not leaning too much, would result in less movement and more control during the transition. I don,t know if it equates when you turn the boat, effectively you put it on edge and create more drag, you have to apply more power to maintain speed. Just my thinking, feel free, to put me right.
  24. Hi savaiusini Thanks for the info, Regards Works 02, Dave W states that the concave is deeper creating stability, this suggest to me that the Works 02 rides deeper in the water, on the other hand Beny, states that the Works 02 requires less effort, generally I found that skis that rides deeper in the water, requires more effort, would you say the Works 02 is as fast as a ski that rides higher in the water. Regards
