I have a 2005 Malibu Sportster LX with a wedge and it is surfable with the wedge down and a couple of people sitting in one rear corner. The wave is not HUGE but definitely surfable. Congratulations on the triple panda!! @6balls
I have a 2005 Sportster LX. It has an amazing wake, the interior quality is the same as any response of that year except for the rear trunk. The engine is a indmar 320. Reliable and easy to work on. This boat has been amazing. I love it.
Not a hoax. It was on multiple media outlets. Sounds like these guys scopes out the dealer before the theft. Took out the cameras. I just hope no one pays for the boats and gets ripped off or worse by buying stolen property.....
I used to ski with a guy who had both his knees replaced he was still able to run within one of his old line lengths and still enjoy his time in the water. I am not sure what brand of replacement he had it would've been approximately 12 years ago.
I wonder if the 100K+ wake/surf boats have the same issues? Out on an open lake the gas gauge seems way more important than on a private ski site... for the price we pay for any boat they should ALWAYS work!
I have a 2005 sportster LX and I love it. Great wake and with the wedge it is even half good for wakeboarding and with enough people in a back corner you can even surf with it.
@sunvalleylaw yes we mixed the fuel too. To this day that smell brings back so many incredible memories. We actually completely wore that engine out. I think the old man rebuilt it two times then we replaced it with a 150 Evenrude with oil injection no mixing but no fantastic smell on start up either... simpler times.
Here is not my earliest picture but a classic one
with the evenrude 115 outboard and a homemade vest that my Dad made. Skiing on a taper flex apex ski.
@kc I totally agree. My post was regarding the feel of the paper in the magazine. I still get excited when I see it in the mailbox (even if it's old fashioned).
