  9. Well if I had the $$$$$$ for a new boat with zo! i'm sure I could get used to it! but no$$$ for new boat so the only chance I get to ski zo is at a tournaments, the pull is way different starts late even c seams to start late and stay on you longer than PP. over and out!!
  10. Rich, Tate, Goodman and a few others feel the same way you loose 5-6 bouy's with zo and TG is as smooth as anyone! DeanoÂ
  11. zo off has ruined the sport !!!  ya if you have money to buy a boat with zo you can get used to it,( maybe)  but if you are like me ski it 4-5 times in practice 4-5 turnys you will never get used to it. since zo off I have stop going to turny's can not run -35 with zo can not practice with zo so I will go to zo turnements this year just ski for fun I ski 3-4 days a week  ya there are a few little guys and gals that do not slow the boat when they pull so they ski fine,   but 185-190 plus and you pull hard forget it,   you will loss a pass. I know many better skiers than me and they say you lose 5-6 bouys with zo!!!  a they have zo boats. usa water ski made a big mistake!!!       would you buy a ski that gave you 5-6 less bouys??  no!  my 2 cents!! Deano

  17. I tag a bouy last season ski stop on a dime I went fly otf no injury  185lbs on din 5, Tg is 200 lbs he is on 5 also above 5 din I do not think you are coming out of the 404 heel. until it is to late. my 2 cents Deano
  18. life is better east of I-5 and better if you are east of the casacades!!! moved east 4yrs ago and no loooking back!! were else can you ski sat or sunday middle of the day on public water and get glass????? Deano
  19. I still need to use soap to get in rear animal, but I can lift my rear heel a good 1/4 inch the wraps are pretty loose. I can pull my rear foot out easy when done skiiing. Deano
  20. Marco, what was the release # on the heel piece??  4-5-6??? Deano
  21. Shane how much do you weigh??    what rope length do you ski? I'm thinking about a 67 or 66 strada, skied a 66 test ski last fall, felt small but bindings were at 28 3/8 FB way back I see they are skiing them more forward now. like 28 3/4 FB on a 67 mpd now Deano
  22. Bruce, the last one I help set up was for Terry Goodman, when we took the boot and plate out of the box mounted it on hes ski. the boot was loose so we moved the heel piece forward one hole, the heel piece should be hard to pull up, not just a slight resistents  like reflex says. Terry is 195-200 6'3" he is on a 5 din setting. I have also seen Bondo on the plate put a small amount of bondo in the heel area then put sun screen on the bottom of the boot, put boot into binding let dry. I think that is a andy maple trick.  We do not use bondo, And have never had a prerelease, and always released when need. Deano
  23. My findings are if the reflex boot is releasing in the turn the heel piece is one hole to far back not enough forward pressure, (Snow ski binding term.) meaning you need the boot to push into the toe loop. I have set up 4-5 reflex systems if you set the heel then test it by how hard it releases pulling up and forward on the dock with back foot out  ( standing feet side by side)  you should be in the Din Range of 4-5 choose 6 and you will come out. I ski 5 and my buds ski 4 and 4 1/2  like any system to tight or wrong setup and you are in for trouble. I hope you heal fast!  like  Mb did he is stronger than ever and he will cut it down this yr.  Deano
  24. scott, mad 11, how much do you guys weigh??  I can not make up my mind to go with a 66 or 67       6' 2" 185lbs on a 67 MPD now.  skied the 66 proto in the fall cold water and the ski was great, felt a little small but binding were at 28 3/8 front foot, (way back) I see now they are saying two holes forward from that 28 3/4 or something like that. I cant wait to ski the final ski with all the #s figured out . ski lifts close soon , when it melts we will ski it agian!! Deano
