  1. Thanks all. I did read some past posts on this. It sounds like I'll start with bindings back. Step 2 would be a little less angle on my wing. It's currently at 8*, so if needed I'll go to 7.
  2. Our water typically goes from 65-70 F to 83-85 as summer warms up. Any tips on both ski and/skier to adjust? I seem to bog down in turns...and end up in the drink more now that it is warmer. I'm ok with wing adjustment and/or removal or a binding tweak. I've never messed with fins much other than initial set up. Thanks Ballers!
  3. I can stop for 89 ethanol free gas. Boat is a Response LX 1999 with EFI Monsoon. About 75 cents more a gallon over regular mid grade. Worth it??
  4. +1 to running a bunch of openers....or figure out if you're a little tired or beat up and rest up for 3-4 days.
  5. Would this help the 15-28 off skier? I have Strada boots on my D3, and my bindings don't quite line up, maybe off a 1/8 th?
  6. Heck yeah! +1 on the choice of progression too, let the skier pick how they get to their best/final score.
  7. @ A_B is +1. I used the old rubber overlays for years, and they were ok. The newer stiffer ones were not very comfortable, and a couple of Wrenched ankles. I would only come about 1/3- 1/2 out on a bad fall. Radar Stradas have been great!
  8. Our lake cottage has a ramp, it is a grated incline, but soft. No concrete. I use metal grates under the trailer tires in the lake. Truck is ok, but the ground is pretty hard and I only have to back up to the waters edge.
  9. 97 w GT40 is a great slalom boat. Interior, good tune up and perfect pass, maybe 5 or 6 grand? You can pick up a clean 97-99 for just under 15? Ready to ski. I'd pass, unless you want a winter project and maybe save a few bucks. They want to to haggle over the extended pylon....smh.
  10. @jwroblew, set up jump once or twice a week and see how it goes. Once a week jumping is good practice for the college teams. Good luck.
  11. 99 Response and flat water.
  12. I, as I'm sure many others here, got to ski with Andy at a clinic. We're so lucky to be able to rub elbows with the best at "our game" A tremendous loss.
  13. I don't get to the public ramp much, thankfully, but being close to Lake Erie I see all sorts of trailer mishaps along the road. Boat on the road and a couple of tires completely off this year. The big pond is a good reminder to not get lazy about checking your stuff, even if you don't use a public ramp.
  14. Kill switches can go on the fritz. Unhook each wire and use a 3rd piece of wire or a paper clip to connect them. You'll hear the fuel pumps prime when you turn the key, but it won't start is one clue.
  15. Hernia?? Not just a groin if it hurts to laugh or cough. My friends have had hernia surgery and are nice enough to send out pics of all that is black n blue, smh Get to the ER.
  16. @ EFW. That's most my problem, I'm hot to hot one ball. 32 isn't too bad, but it is an issue at 34. I'll try that out. @ Waternut. Same engine Thanks fellas.
  17. @GregHind. Thanks, I have other springs so I can use a longer one. I got the perfect pass bracket and wasn't sure where to hook in relation to the throttle? I,guess as long as you are in a spot that is out of the way and gets some return tension, you are ok?
  18. This is behind the current spring towards the stern
  19. Does this little ok for mounting an extra spring? Boat is a 99 Response, trying to help perfect pass settle in. Thanks
  20. I never had luck getting wet sports tape into a rubber boot, had to use duck tape on the outer layer. Prolly not an issue with hard shells. Also, a walking boot really helped my recovery time.

Ok, the Raptor 6.2 is going in wakeboard boats it looks like. The 6 cylinder Ecoboost in a slalom tug would be interesting?
  22. Good stuff, nice to bounce back back and forth between the private sites with buoys and open water. Should be a 2 way street
  23. Trophy Lakes always has college peeps in the summer, i think Matt is still there? Seth Stisher might need someone, yes I like Charleston, SC. Your inquiry here will help.
