  1. Can the Reflex Bond/Click Bond eventually be removed without damaging the top surface of the ski? I use the clear Dual Lock and it easily peels off the ski when you need to replace it.
  2. Do you mean swim trunks?...........................Girls wear bathing suits.
  3. Adam, I sent you a PM with my contact info. Check your inbox. I'd be happy to give you some pulls.
  4. Am I one of the only skiers who likes my Nano Mid? I have a 65" 188 AMP set at 29.25", 6.819, 2.445, 0.725 (Slot Caliper), 8 degrees, no ventral wing. I am skiing very consistent on my Nano so far and have not experienced any of the problems as mentioned in some of the previous comments above. My Nano Mid seems to have great cross course angle compared to my 9900SL Traditional. I have recently changed my ZO settings from A1 to C2. I am wondering if some of the above mentioned characteristics of the Nano perhaps are due to too much of a longitudinal twist than other Nanos.
  5. I use 2 strips of clear 400 + 2 strips of clear 250 on the plate, and 4 strips of clear 250 on the ski. I mate the Dual Lock together on the plate first before mounting it to the ski so that I am sure everything is mated together firm and there are no crushed mushrooms. I have never pre-released using this combination and mounting technique. I buy the Dual Lock Trial Packs from bindingsource.com.
  6. If you lay the ski flat on a table without anchoring anything, the TAIL of a RFF would be twisted right (clockwise), so if you would anchor the tail of a RFF ski flat to the table the TIP would be twisted left (counterclockwise). This makes sense because you turn your off side with your front foot, and your on side with your rear foot. I am currently riding a 66.5" 186 AMP Goode 9900SL Traditional. Moving to a 65" 188 AMP Nano Mid.
  7. Called Goode today. According to Goode, the RFF ski tail should twist to the right (clockwise) and the LFF ski tail should twist to the left (counterclockwise). I believe MSJ's comment on May 1st is contradictory to this.
  8. My Nano arrived yesterday. I think it may have the opposite twist also. I ordered a RFF, the sticker on the tip of the ski says "Right", however my ski has a clockwise longitudinal twist if you look down the ski from the tail (i.e. the left side of the tail is twisted up). I will call Goode on Monday.
  9. @Horton. Been reading your Razor review. What size and flex (A or B) have you been testing?
  10. @MSJ, To confirm the clockwise vs. counter-clockwise longitudinal twist, are you looking down the ski from the tail?
  11. Also, check the serial # of the ski. If it ends with an "R" it is RFF, if it ends with an "L" it is LFF.
  12. I've got a 65" Nano Mid on the way. I thought the 29.25" boot placement was for the 65" Mid.
  13. @ral, I had a handle hit the top of my Warp. Left a slight depression in the ski, but structurally intact. Same thing happened when I pried my G-10 plate off. I even used wood under the pry bar. I think it is due to the ski being hollow.
  14. @MSJ, Where are your bindings set? I just got a 65" 188AMP Nano Mid that I am setting up. Stock is 29.25". I heard that the lighter skiers are liking the bindings back. Chad Scott (~180#) is at 29.25" but Dave Miller (~170#) is at 28.75".

    Dual Lock

@9400. I was a Fogman user and adapted my Fogman boots to a G-10 plate to attach to the ski using 3M Dual Lock. Did so mainly due to the fact that Fogmans mounted to a Goode voids the warranty. There is a Fogman adapter plate available if you prefer to use the Fogman release units without drilling in to the ski.

    Dual Lock

I'm using a combination of 250/400 clear. Two strips 250 per side on the ski (4 total on ski). One strip 400 and one strip 250 per side on the plate (4 total on plate). My plate is 29" long, so I need nearly 20 feet of Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Dual Lock to tape up one ski/binding.
  17. What are the boot settings for the 65" Nano Mid? Are they the same as the 9900 Mid? Dave Miller is running his front boot at 28-3/4" and Chad Scott is running his at 29-1/4". @ral. The reason I was given (from Goode) for the lack of inserts in the Nano was the core material, not the carbon.
  18. I rotate my front boot 3/16" clockwise, and my rear boot 9/16" counterclockwise. I am RFF.
  19. Is the 3.5" from the back edge of the ski to the back edge of the ventral wing?
  20. I believe the 36 mph bevels can be converted to 34 mph bevels at Goode when you go in to M3. You may want to consult with Goode to make sure this can be done.
  21. There is a slight graphics change from the Nano test skis to the Nano production skis. The test skis had the word "MID" written on the tail. The production skis will have the word "twist" written on the tail.
  22. I wonder, does the ski feel wobbly at all with asymmetric twist to the rocker?
  23. Are the Goode slot calipers the same as the new version of the digital slot calipers without the indentation?
  24. I did mis-type the front boot distance and edited the above post. I am pretty sure that Dave Miller said his fin length was measured with the jaws of a Goode dial caliper, not the slot caliper. I could be wrong though.
