@MISkier on iPhone 4, under privacy, location services (on), wakeye is set to on. Under privacy, photos, wakeye is set to on. Under privacy, microphone, wakeye is off. Looks like i have wakeye version 1.5
@MISkier While wifi is on and connected at my house, there is no wifi at the lake. Blue tooth off. Cell data was on, but wakeye is not a listed/available app.
@MISkier - I hadn't used the phone since last Sept. I merely charged it and used it. Looking at settings now, It is set to auto, not manual. Try checking the speed you have set in the wakeye, i noticed the speed can be set between 5-299 mph which seemed a bit strange. I tried to video while I drove my vehicle... no shaking/jerking, so i'm thinking this was caused by the pylon mount (I'm using a Ski-Doc). I'll try again this weekend with both iPhone 4 and 6.
@MISkier Now it's an old deactivated iPhone 4. Last season it was activated and I downloaded the wakeye app. Video worked great. Now, while the GPS speed indicator worked as expected, the video is very shaky/jerky, and not smooth.
@Jibbo any update? FYI - I tried using my iPhone 4 today. While it seemed to worked, the video was very "jerky". I don't remember it being like that last year. iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1.2. Will try iPhone 6 this weekend.
@pgmoore I'm LFF and used to ski with the wrong grip (left palm up). I corrected my grip (left palm down) which helped my skiing, but continued with left palm up on deepwater starts. Several years ago, I forced myself to do both palms down and the deepwater starts felt easier and had an even pull (no twisting) on my back.
@Horton Delaware is a state? j/k. Skied there several years ago with a group of 6-8 skiers. Hard to imagine they fall below NM... but you are the king!
What's up with the "new discussions" and categories being on the left side of the page instead of where they usually are on the right? After reading a few threads, it reverts back to normal. I'm using Safari on a MAC.
PP ran fine at end of last year. This year, it won't settle back to speed after engaging. We found that if we turn the servo counter clockwise after starting the engine, it seems to work fine... as long as we keep the engine running. Every time we stop/start the engine, we have to repeat the procedure. Boat is 2006 Ski Nautique.
I ran linkage and servo tests and they seem fine. Could be return spring, but why would it seem to work after we manually rotate the servo?
Thoughts/suggestions?
@lpskier, Ski oasis is/was also running a wakeboard cable system, which I believe is closed. The ski club, while not as many members as in years past is open and we're skiing.
@horton, no issues until today. All was fine this AM, but later in the day when I check BOS, I was logged out (the keep me logged in was checked on my last login a couple of weeks ago). I logged in and all seems fine. Tried both username and email log in's.
