Sounds like some kick ass sets! As a marker of sorts, I have been told Greg Badal will ski three sets a day, 20 plus passes in a set.

Anyone know where I can find a good used 67" Strada? Have a 68" and skied on a 67" tonight and loved it. Looked on Ski It Again and no luck. Thanks.

I am commenting on the original post. I'm getting tired of hearing people bashing the current boats, specifically the MC. I wish I could have grown up skiing behind the 197, LXi or 196 or 200! Wish, it dawned on me what you were talking about as I was driving down the road this morning after I posted my question. Thats pretty trick!

I ski at 36 mph behind a 2011 LXi and my WTT 197. I cannot tell a difference between the two wakes at 15 or 22 off. I do feel a slight dip at 28 but it definetly is not hard at 28. Hell there is pretty much nothing there at 28 off. Sounds like a bunch of Nancy's looking for something to complain about. I especially can't believe a guy that is getting into 38 off is complaining about the wakes.

Last year, either broke or seperated some ribs. Took 4 weeks off and it was not nearly long enough. I ended up skiing for almost a year with hurt ribs. IT SUCKS!! Took well over a year to fully heal. Doc can't do anything except make sure the ribs aren't splintered. Take lots of time off, it will save you time in the end.

Why not buy a Promo boat? Your going to get your best deal on a Promo. Mine will have 60 hours on it at the end of August and you can't tell its not brand new.

Nice work Than. I so want to be there some day. I've always been able to achieve my goals in athletics but water skiing is a different beast...........dang there is so much going on and so easy to screws things up. 38 is huge.

No. There has been R&D but nothing better than current Strada shape was found. Maybe a flex change is pending? Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner.

Really liked the latest WaterSki Mag. Lots of good stuff in there and has kept my interest even after sifting through it a few times.
