Engine horsepower is rated at sea level. The engine loses about 10 HP for every 1000 feet of elevation. The OP skis at 4500 feet above sea level, so he has lost about 45 HP. He wants more power prop to compensate for the HP loss.
Andy won the '81 Worlds at age 18. If this kid wins the Worlds three years from now we will all agree that he is a phenom.

I don't care if he skis one or five practice sets at the other lake. To me the etiquette lies with lack of helping with the tourney that he is in...Driving, judging, dock starter, etc. instead of skiing at the other lake.
We just got back from the Atlanta Pro-Am. What a great tournament! Beryl added to the adversity with a constant 10 to 16 mph tailwind off the dock. Lots of exciting 38 tails and 39 heads.
