  1. This is absolutely the biggest waste of $3000 that I have ever seen. A total waste of time and resources.
  2. Before you undertake this endeavor please watch the movie "Deliverance". Tennessee fishermen will do anything and everything to take your course out of "their" fishing cove.
  3. If you hang upside down on an inversion table while you call your chiropractor for a treatment….You might be a Men's 6.
  4. If you wear a Goode Powervest and Depends at the same time...You might be Men's 6.
  5. Supra Comp TS6M maybe the first tourney boat that dropped the bow and had really cool lines. It looked very good coming down the lake. Bob LaPoint won the '87 Worlds behind a Supra Comp TS6M but I think they dropped 454s in those Worlds boats instead of the standard 351 Windsor.
  6. Chris is so cool. One year at nationals I was running my 35 pass and I messed up 3 ball a bit. I really cranked 4 ball and was right back in it. After getting back to the crowd after I finished skiing, Chris came up to me and said "Nice four ball man".
  7. I personally would never let a ski boat sit in the water for extended periods. Gelcoat is porous.
  8. My RLX fuel gauge would stick on E once in a while. A couple of power turns later and it was fine. Definitely the sending unit on mine.
  9. Those buoys look like they were grazed by a UFO death ray.
  10. Western Regional scores up! Horton being on opposite side of Rocky Mountains might have had goofy foot forward during event.
  11. On an open water public course without much protection you should be able to ski your best with a 12 mph head/tail wind. Any more wind than that gets tough for a recreational skier. Pro skiers are strong enough to handle more wind. I watched Regina run 39 with a 25 mph tail at Atlanta one time, with no rodeo. Jeff Rodgers did the same at the same tournament. Chad Scott ran a nice 39 tail at that windy tournament also.
  12. Usawaterski stated that Nate has been injured and hasn't skied for a month.
  13. Whoever wins the worlds is the best skier in the world for two years.
  14. Love a red boat coming down a blue, blue lake...very cool.
  15. Stay on the ski that you are on. When you get down to 155 like Nate, think about getting a 68.
  16. Professional instruction is always the best but here are a few things that I see. Remember that good skiing is always a sequence of events so the more of the proper techniques that you have, the better you will ski. The first is the pullout, you are leaning back instead of away from the boat. If you keep consistently leaning back instead of away, it turns into an inefficient habit. The next is the turn in for the gates. Get a little wider setting up for the gates and then make an instant turn in for the gates, not a gradual one. The third thing is body position behind the boat. It needs to be stronger with your handle lower.
  17. How long have you been skiing? Have you had any professional instruction?
  18. Since he is just starting to learn to ski, it is the ideal time for professional help.
  19. A new boat should cost $20,000. A new boat should also be functional. The boat should still go when it gets hot, unlike the big boats of today. Only buy a boat if you can pay cash.
  20. I was informed by mechanics to NEVER run your boat out of fuel. The newer electronic fuel pumps are lubricated by the fuel. If you run out of fuel there is a good chance that it could ruin the fuel pump.
  21. Another vote for low tranny fluid. Takes two guys to check it.
  22. Do you see a lot of fish following this boat?
  23. You are at the Barkin' Dog Saloon, home of the Nasty Boys!
