  2. Because the scoring software shows it by default. If you see the tournament page, you would notice that there is not an Overall Team classification link in the left section. Also, you can notice that the Overall is a separate tournament.
  3. There is no waterski team placement at the PanAms, it is a multi-sport event like the Olympics, where countries win based on gold medals. So the choice makes all sense from a Team USA perspective.
  4. @rayn, at PanAm Games, the maximun number of skiers per country is 4, and USA has Regina, Anna, Erika and Nate.
  5. @Horton, this is a classic example of a rule that fails to achieve its intended purpose because of its poorly crafted wording and execution.
  6. He will now. PanAm rules mandate at least one Overall athlete in M and W.
  7. Yes. The run-off was due to Olympic/PanAm rules, where a maximum of 2 athletes per country can be in the Finals.
  8. @Horton, looks like there is a PanAm video app. Not sure if it shows all events.
  9. Nope, as it will be in open TV.
  10. If you made all passes just after your second attempt, leave the ski as it is.
  11. @water_skier1, what is a normal training set in the course for you (speed progression and number of buoys in each pass)?
  12. You enjoyed this tv commercial… RPReplay_Final1689421510.mov
  13. Interesting… Everyone here shares this view? If so, I might thing testing something other than B.
  14. For sure the Miranda family have been and are a cornerstone of it. But it is also the combined effort of several families and actors. When I see comments on our sport dying and that someone should do something (especially that rules for tournaments should change…) I always think about what we have achieved in Chile, by doing rather than waiting for something to be done by someone else. Doing in our sport is teaching kids (and adults), helping and judging in tournaments, building lakes. Anyone can do at least some of that, and if many do, the results will show.
  15. Congrats to Team Chile for the 2nd place, showing that, with hard sustained work, a small and remote country can compete against the best.
  16. @Horton, that is tempting. Only USD 10 per Panda!
  17. Too early and not enough coffee sounds awfully like aftermath from what @Bruce_Butterfield mentions.
  18. 41 off is an approximate number (10.36 m). The exact number is 10.25 m. It goes from 38 off every 0.5m: 11.25, 10.75, 10.25, 9.75 (43 off) and then 9.50 (0.25m).
