  1. I found the real listing, I think, for that boat... $73k makes more sense. https://boats-from-usa.com/mastercraft/mastercraft-prostar-253814
  2. You're all probably right. Eric, you can drive up there and check it out:)
  3. I have no affiliation, but if I was in the used market for a late model Prostar, this looks like a solid deal... https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/boa/d/minneapolis-2019-mastercraft-prostar/7606813228.html
  4. Hard to really say right now. Last spring I sold my '94 Prostar for $18k. I don't think I'd get anywhere near that this year, as there are boats on the market now. I wouldn't pay any more than $12-15k for a bubble butt right now. If you find a boat you like, pull the cash out of your pocket and challenge them to say no:)
  5. That trailer deserves its own Panda!
  6. The Sport 200 absolutely should have tracking fins. Very odd that they were removed? You mention a wonky trailer fit. Do you see where the fins may affect how the boat loads or sits on the trailer? I'm just trying to wrap my head around why the fins would be removed.
  7. Black Beauty and Camille were my favs. It's always fun seeing what you come up with.
  8. That is so cool! I'll make it a stop during our next trip down.
  9. How those historical folks could ski so insanely well with the gear of the times just blows my mind. Waterski history is so cool, thanks for sharing.
  10. Isn't the ASU team skiing in the Salt River just north of the stadium now? It's been a while since I've been out there, but I did see a course out there while driving by the U.
  11. I had a '97 Prostar in white/reuben stripe, which looked a lot like this sangria pic. Looked great on the water. I still lives and on my home lake where I sold it, and the color has passed the test of time.
  12. I've always done all of my own service. Foremost, it gets me back on the water faster.
  13. Yes that was from Perfect Pull. I tried one at MC of Arizona back in 1991, but haven't seen one since. Then lean angle on it for anything over -28 seemed crazy. Cool idea though for sure.
  14. 2018 200 came standard with Nautique Digital Cruise, not ZO. Should be an easy swap though.
  15. Irrational - MC LaPoint Radius. First serious ski I ever got Rational - Goode 9100 So I don't forgot - O'brien G3 Revenge. Ski almost killed me! Absolutely un-rideable!
  16. '14+ Prostar cables are easy to swap. MC did a great job making a large tube passage for install/removal, and access to the rudder is awesome.
  17. Boats inventories rising, cars not hitting reserves on sites like Bring A Trailer, and houses sitting on the market. The madness is over, sellers just haven't quite realized it yet.
  18. If that were accurate, I'd have to believe MCFT would halt the Prostar, otherwise why keep it around? Try explaining the need to keep a low-profit unit around to appease 350 annual buyers to the board. Maybe I'm way off, who knows?
  19. Let's say you're MC and there's $25k margin each for building 350 Prostars per year. That's still $8,750,000 to the company. I have no idea if my numbers are even close, but you don't just shut down near $10mill because the market is tiny. Good luck explaining that to the board.
  20. After never thinking I'd buy an EV, I bought a Tesla for my wife last month and am now a believer. Considering it literally drove us home from dinner Saturday night, I'm sure programming a ZO style speed control would not be a difficult undertaking, should market demand come about.
  21. Agreed, I'd do a hair dryer for the decal and 3M adhesive remover for the residue.
