  1. We are selling our 5.7 Team Edition and are looking to move into a 2013 or newer 6.0. Many ballers can vouch for how sweet this 200 is. We've had 4 Nautiques in the last 5 years and this one is by far the best. If you're interested in this boat or have a 6.0 you're looking to sell, please let me know! Link
  2. @DefectiveDave I'm pretty sure you have to be in a skiing position per the rule books. I bet @Detrick taught him that "don't let go no matter what" move.
  3. Sorry @ShaneH . Introducing myself as webbdawg felt like it would've been a little awkward!
  4. I was driving the slalom skier/attempted barefooter at 0:25. Needless to say, that was a first.
  5. I had access to an Infinity during my college days. Due to the reduced drive shaft angle mentioned earlier, that boat was faster out of the hole and had more power than any of its competitors. It also handled awesome. The interior room couldn't be beat. The wake was dense at 22 off but very flat at 28 and shorter. Infinity sold the plans to Svfara. They turned it into the Svfara SV-1
  6. We have a 2013 and 2014 available for sale. Oddly, the throttle on the 2014 is stiffer. The 2015 throttles are sweet! The throttle stiffness issue in the 2013-2014's seems to be more of a boat by boat issue. Some are stiffer than others but I don't think it's tied to model year. They redid the 2015's
  7. I also think that overthinking ski setup can be quite harmful. It gets in your head! I saw a kid at a collegiate event recently go up to Jeff Rodgers to ask about moving his fin for the cooler water. He was almost stressed out about it. So he made a couple changes before he skied and wouldn't you know it, stood up 2 ball on his opener. He was thinking way more about the ski than the skiing.....and that's never a good thing.
  8. I've never personally done it, but the guy I ski with did recently. My buddy was consistently getting 4@38 but wasn't running it. Before the third round at Trophy, @adamhcaldwell came up to him and suggested a small fin movement. My buddy came to me and said, "should I do it"? I said, "Heck yea! You got nothing to lose." We adjusted his fin about 5 minutes before he skied....and he ran his first ever tournament 38. Those Adam characters certainly seem to know their stuff.
  9. @Razorskier1 Then it sounds like you need to come....and drag the other 2 Ross boys with you!
  10. Heres a good place to start if you are skiing open water and wanting to get in the course:
  11. @wtrskior I destroyed some new kpalms in 3 weeks. Returned them in exchange for the 41 tails. The 41 tails fit much larger than the kpalms. If you are moving to kpalms, get a size larger than you had with the 41's
  12. I'm out of the country right now but plan to be back before Tuesday. See ya there!
  13. @Horton But didn't 40% of people that took the survey reply that they did not belong to any organization?
  14. @disland The survey category that 25%+ of respondents checked was "Can run 35 off or more". To me, that means completing the pass....not getting into it. I could see how it could potentially be misinterpreted by some....which would explain the 25% response.
  15. Well almost 40% of respondents don't belong to USAWS or another governing organization. So I'd say its safe to assume that those people are not currently participating in tournaments. Of course that doesn't mean that they haven't at some point in the past.
  16. The most surprising results of this survey are 2 things for me. First, Radar seems to be far and above the most popular brand. Not only based on percent owned, but also it was selected as the ski that most people want to own. Based on the demographics, I would've assumed Goode would've been the leader. Second, that 25%+ of the readership can run 35 off or shorter. I find this statistic kind of hard to believe. Based on my participation in tournaments in the southeast, less than 10% of participants can run 35 off. And these are tournament skiers. Not all BOS readers are tournament skiers. So for the number to read 25%+.....seems high. Oh...and 24 people bringing in $500k plus! Brings back the old school meaning of BALLER!
  17. Ricky is in the Augusta area. @lff is correct. There's a lake off of I-16 just outside of Savannah. Slade Cole and Jack Everett ski there. Maybe someone has their contact info
  18. Skis will "porpoise" when there isn't enough ski in the water. As stated previously, you are very heavy on your back foot. Other possible solutions are moving your boots forward or adding tip by increasing the length of the fin.
  19. No big ad campaigns. No hype videos. No spoilers or teasers. No fluff. Yet I'm more intrigued by this ski than anything that has come to market in years. Why? Science.
  20. Weak showing by Alabama Alum. Yes....I just called you out!
  21. If you'd only listened! :# http://ballofspray.com/forum#/discussion/13224/measure-your-fin-often
