  1. Will this new shell work on the current single toe loop set up?
  2. Anyone know anything about this? I won't be at Nationals until tomorrow.
  3. Sign up in the east is off to a very slow start. Which reminds me, you haven't signed up yet @Rpc29 !
  4. Playing devils advocate here. But to be fair, you have to qualify for Nationals. Even the top ranked M2 slalom skier currently registered for the Midwest Alumni Regionals would not qualify based on ranking score alone. The current COA is 99.33. Only 35 M2 skiers qualified based on ranking score. Of those, 10 are currently listed as open rated.
  5. @DooSPX I haven't seen it on PCM's page either. However, if you go to GM marine engines, there is a new 5.3 listed. I assume this is the same engine.....assume.
  6. I'm not worried about the 5.3 as a slalom boat. I'm most curious how it will perform pulling 150+ jumpers.
  7. Moving to M3. Gonna be a big change going from 36 to 34
  8. The science of the attempt: http://espn.go.com/espn/now?nowId=1-13389778
  9. @E_T but in a tony lightfoot voice with lots of enthusiasm....like this: (the punchline is at the end of the video)
  10. You guys forgot to ask the one question that everybody wants to know!
  11. Sure, but we are only talking about a spring, not an entire system. That would be like buying a new car BC I have a flat tire!
  12. I checked in with H2OProshop and Miami. No luck.
  13. Spring and screw - $19. Flat rate shipping - $30. No Bueno.
  14. A new spring and screw is only $20. Probably worth buying a new one if that's my problem.
  15. So maybe I can purchase the 750 replacement spring/screw and use it in my 500?
  16. I currently have a Reflex 500 release mechanism that is approximately 5 years old. I'm starting to notice some wear and what could be described as premature releases. I see that it's suggested to replace the spring every couple of years, but I don't see where anything is available for the 500 mechanism, only the 750. Is my only option to upgrade to the 750 system? What is the difference between the 500 and 750? Will a 500 shell work with a 750 release?
  17. I skied with one of the other record holders today. Some amazing young talent out there!
  18. Online registration should be the standard IMO.
  19. Then sign up online and pay in person or via mail as @disland suggested. Problem solved.
  20. @Than_Bogan Increase participation.....and revenue.
  21. Are you left eye or right eye dominant? Are you short or are you tall? Do you sit close to or far away from the wheel?
  22. I understand there are paypal fees associated. But it should be no more expensive for you than it is for everyone else using online registration. We upped our entry fees by $5 this year to cover the extra cost.
  23. That brings up a good point @ToddL. @Horton Why no online registration?
  24. @Horton. So I'm considering signing up for this event now that the date has changed. However, you've previously said that guys dropping down to M3 would need to ski at 36. Are you still sticking with that? By the time your event happens, I will have probably skied at least 2 if not 3 events at 34. I think anyone should be able to ski at 34....even if you're a M1 or M2 guy. It puts everyone on an even playing field. Obviously, if a M1 or M2 guy did that, it wouldn't help their AWSA rankings......but that's their choice!
  25. I think OB has successfully pushed Horton's buttons on another thread
