  1. Are those frames supposed to be in synch??? Top left he appears to be coming off the second wake, bottom left he looks to be right behind the boat, and bottom right he's approaching the first wake!!
  2. The shorter the rope gets, the smaller is the window to load, and more time is dedicated to the turn. At 22, you could ski to the buoy line, ski down course, the turn at the ball, pull cross course to the other buoy line and do it again. At 39, look at an over head shot of the skiers path. They are almost constantly in a turn. There is a very short segment right behind the boat that the ski is traveling in a straight line. But as soon as the edge change is made, they are initiating the turn. The shorter the rope gets, the more time you're spending in the turn. (Which is from initial edge change to reloading the rope)
  3. This one is going to be kind of tough to put into words. The biggest difference is the "feel", but that doesn't answer your question. But I'll try. Wakes- wake characteristics at 22 are significantly different Angles- running 22 with shallow angles is pretty achievable. Once you get to 28 and beyond, the angle of the ski's path AND the angles of the skiers body at the ball become much more critical Whip- simply put, the feel of the line whipping you across the wakes as opposed to having to pull all the way across the wakes. For me, when I was running 22 off as part of my practice sets, it made me ski "lazy", shallow angles, and narrow. When I dropped it, my skiing improved. Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect. And for me, practicing 22 only enforced bad habits that wouldn't work at 28-35. Hope this helps a little.
  4. I feel like 22 is skied differently than 28 through 35. If you're running into 38 occasionally, I say drop the 22. I think it will improve your skiing. The only way Id say stick with 22 is if you don't run 28 consistently.
  5. Pics 2 and 3 are a good way to promote preventative boat maintenance. Look what you're missing when you have your head shoved in an engine bay!!!!
  6. @Waternut. The scrutiny came bc it took over an hour for it to be announced that he'd missed his gates. However, Tadd clarified on another thread that the delay was bc the wakeboarding event had begun, not bc it took the judges that long to decide. They decided to delay the announcement until after the wakeboarding. It's delay was interpreted as indecision about Nate's gates. None of his gates ever came into question during the Pro Am.....at least that I'm aware of.
  7. And THEN he spent all day Monday announcing for the Pro Am!
  8. Sorry for the lack of clarity. Swapping the left and right pucks solved this problem for us.
  9. I guess my post on May 25th was overlooked
  10. HO announcing Asher's victory is what motivated me to start this thread. The picture I attached at the top was immediately following it's posting on Facebook......but was in direct contradiction to any other info available at that time. So you can see why it was confusing!
  11. @trs01 When dooty calls, you must answer it! You don't owe anyone an apology for leaving the tower after the skiing was over! Thanks for the clarification on what happened!
  12. It was an epic weekend in Atlanta. @OB put everything he had into it and it was a first class event! I wanna give a special thanks to @Bruce55!!! He spent all weekend fixing up some of the beaten up bodies.....mine included! If anyone is in the Ohio area, please support Bruce and his practice at Sugarcreek Chiropractic......you'll be glad you did!
  13. Well, Congrats to Willy. Tough break for Nate.
  14. Well, according to HO's comment below this pic, Nate missed his gates. Can anyone confirm?
  15. Pretty sure I just watched Nate get 3@41 to take down Asher''s 2@41. Did I miss something?
  16. Try swapping the GPS pucks and remap
  17. I don't think Nate is alone. The fin numbers of some of the top guys are well guarded secrets. Guess they want to keep every competitive advantage they can. Thanks to the guys that share!
  18. My 67 is for sale. Approximately 10 sets on it. Message me if interested
  19. @bogboy Do you have any contact info?
  20. Maybe I should've stuck with A1. I know there are plenty of A2's out there....but I'm really looking for an unused A1
  21. Anyone have any idea how I could track down any unused HO A1's and/or A2's? Surely there are some hiding out there somewhere that are still factory fresh. If you have any insights or suggestions, please let me know!
  22. From what I've experienced, I agree 100% with that statement. 2 best adjustments so far: move the boots forward and increased dft
