  1. I bought a few shares of MCFT just for fun today. I need to diversify... too much TSLA and NIO in my holdings as of now... or maybe not enough! Who knows?!
  2. Chart looks kind of meh on 1 year. But yeah, might be fun to buy a little.
  3. I live on a lake without islands, but was a member of a lake that had them. I like not having islands, because it gives you more options with setting down skiers, and rollback down the lake has not been an issue without them.
  4. I’m happy to get you a set in at Aquaplex. Just look me up when you are ready.
  5. Question is, Is this a Drive by Wire boat, or does it have a throttle cable? If it has a throttle cable, Z-Box doesn't work as well. If that's the case, its time to start asking questions like how long would the boat be kept? If the answer is a long time... $5k and get new motor with ZO.
  6. +1 on the 2014 and newer Prostar. Wakes are small in the 20s. Interestingly enough, I skied a 2021 Prostar at regionals, and did not like the wake as much. I just saved $30k, by keeping my ‘16!
  7. Check Bennetts skibennetts.com that's were I bought mine this year. Its used, but I couldn't tell. It looks kinda trick if the top deck isn't all white.
  8. Over the weekend, I had a chance to test out the 2021 Prostar at the South Central Regionals. This was a practice ride, and not the actual event, as they were not pulling events with the 2021. Overall, the wake feels like it has more of a lip on it at my speeds.. and I favor my 2016 wake. I was getting kicked more than I had hoped for. I describe the wake (in the mid/upper 20's) as not any bigger, but harder. Nice boat though. 24.9 MPH 26.8 MPH
  9. Yeah, seems the MC site has crashed! But just as ThomasAlive said, the new PS is not all that different, at least cosmetically, and our "last gen" Prostars are still relevant.
  10. I was kind of hoping they would leave the current generation alone for a few more years.. I sure was enjoying having a current model Prostar. Makes no difference though.. mine still skis and drives great!
  11. I heard there is a program where you answer if you put gas in the boat every time you start it, and it fixes the gas gauge issue. Can this be put on any 2014+ Prostar? Ran out again this evening, and had to swim it in for like the 4th time in less than a year...
  12. I think it totally rocks. Even better than the 200, but not as good as the 2019 Nautique... but not 40k better!
  13. @TEL who knows... maybe Mr BOS? It's got me thinking, not that it needs an update, but most companies don't keep the same hull more than 4 or 5 years right? I mean, I hope it doesn't change anytime soon.
  14. I was thinking, I have not detected a skiing difference in wake through the 2014 to 2019 Prostars. (I have not skied a 2020 yet) Has their been any hull revisions? Is it the same 2014 hull all the way through the current year?
  15. My boat didn't come with one. Bought one "used" at Bennetts for $1200
  16. Hey, can someone snap a few photos of how the weather stripping is placed on the lid?
  17. More pix to come folks. I could always paint it to match the boat, or black, or... one thought was to paint the two recessed spots on the lid red... it would kind of look like the boat had fangs... I probably won't do that.
  18. So... I decided to do this... thoughts?
  19. @skimtb and, this is probably my best "from shore" video...
  20. @mbabiash 22 off = slack, and getting "launched over a house" with the 22 off bump. 28 = slack..
  21. thats about 5x in practice this year.. and 2x in a tournament (3x really, but I got robbed) First time getting on video... tried yesterday and kept getting 5's... now I gotta get through 30! Enough is NEVER enough!!
