  1. Still taking offers here.. the module is apparently $400 from PP. So I have the display, puck, zbox.
  2. Word is, the Drive By Wire module won't work with a throttle cable boat. Everything else will. Was thinking $700 w/o the module, $1000 with.
  3. Its $1748 for the whole system. I'm open to offers..
  4. Just messaged you. You need zbox, but you need stargazer. Unfortunitly, you don't have a DBW boat, or I'd sell you the whole thing. If you check with PP, you can see of you can convert it to a throttle cable boat.
  5. One vote here for a Moomba Outback. DD, ballast, and I pulled my friend into 38 off... no longer made, but can be found easy under 30k.
  6. I might have one for you soon... in a week or so.. I've almost got my ZO conversion working...
  7. I can also help in the evening time (after 5) those days. I'll PM you...
  8. Boat is an 08 Moomba Outback. Very similar to Malibu. Jody, pm me your number and I'll call you tomorrow. I was thinking $3500 on the price to do this. How far off am I?
  9. Hmm.. that post is confusing.. How do I find out what 08 Indmar? serial # is 152028. It is a 5.7. I think it says Assault 325hp on the motor cover.
  10. I cant seem to access those clips... consider uploading to youtube. I don't think audio is that big of a deal, unless its someone coaching in the boat with a whistle where she would initiate the turn.. Also, the ski she is on, I think all the Liquid Access skis like the seat to be pretty far back. I cam measure, but I bet my seat is about 14 inches from the tail (just a guess as I'm at work)
  11. Okay, decided to spend the money, but now seems like it is harder than I thought it was going to be... attempting to convert an 08 Indmar to Z0. It is DBW allready. It has a Delphi ECM. Contacted Indmar, and they no longer support/sell an e-control ECM. Have been told to "get a new boat". Found an e-controls ECM for Indmar, only to be told its not stocked, as they get it from Indmar. MCpartsDepot told me to look into "MEFI Burn" which I guess is a kit to reprogram the existing ECM to work with ZO. They sell 2 kits, ranging from about $500 to $1800. I have no idea if this would work, and worried it won't, and it will turn my boat into a rowboat. @Jody_Seal any ideas?
  12. Hi there! First thing to know is about 80% crosses over from the normal ski world. I have many videos you may enjoy, head on over to youtube and search for "usaski1". I'm guessing, although I don't know, you may bee too focused on buoys right now, when you may need to have her free ski, but focus on wake crossings and the turn. Just slalom back and forth at about 24-26 there is a "sweet spot" about 22 mph, where she may be able to jump wake to wake and it is so smooth... use this to get the turn and timing down.. also it really helps to make sure that seat is up as high as you can get it... it will really help the leverage she has.
  13. First off, the "regular" events is where my heart is now. When I was 20, (20 years ago) I said "man, I wanna ski the AB nats" and I didn't know how I was going to do it, but with some help from Kieth, and others, I figured out how to do it in 2014. I proposed merging the events at least 10 years ago, but it always seemed to fall on def ears. I still think its a good idea. I have tried to get my other friends in chairs to participate, and no one seems that interested. I don't know why? I really don't think it takes that much longer to run a disabled skier than a standing skier. Only difference is, you gotta pick them up if you fall. Could be done on one lake. On a multi-lake site, just put the mid balls in, and your set. I'm all but done with the disabled worlds and nationals... no need for me now that I can ski the US nats. ...And I think its great for the sport.
  14. Well, another cash prize in the books! Great meeting some folks I haven't, and some people did some fine skiing. Too bad I wasn't one of them! I had one of my worst tournament rounds of the year in the finals. Apparently, it makes a difference if you get your whole hand back on the handle, when attempting to progress to the next ball. 2 fingers don't cut it! Anyhow, thanks to Horton, Bell Aqua and crew that made this tournament a success! Any chance if having 2 Cash Prize tournaments next year? Also i'd Iike to see the final placements for both the head to head and the handicap final, are those posted anywhere?
  15. A little jumping action! Also, I totally dig this slalom shot. Mens 3 Jump / Slalom action! Also, Craig Timm won his division at the regionals, and signed up for nats, and skied it. Totally awesome, I've known Mr Timm for 20 years, we've traveled the world together skiing, and winning! Craig is the second disabled person to ski at the nats. Way to go! He jumped 88 ft.. with one arm! Dang impressive!
  16. I just tried to sign up... no online signup? Must mail you a check?
  17. I'm in, but what about other cash prize events this year?
  18. @cragginshred, I did go to New Melones. like once, too. Never saw the course, thought it was an "okay" lake, and left. @keithh2oskier. DP feels like a lifetime ago now. I haven't been on the water, but did take a drive there a few years back on a trip. I cashed in all my "house, and houseboat chips" in 2004, and then sold another house and bought a house on a ski lake in Texas, where I now live. One thing I don't miss, I slammed a log doing 35 or 40 going back to the trailer, and it cracked the hull, and ruined all the running gear in a 2002 Calabria.
  19. I wish I had a photo to share, maybe I can dig some up? DP has a special place in my heart. I learned to ski there when I was 14 or so. My family and I bought a houseboat there, and made some of the best memories of my life there, from 1995 to 2007 or so. I'm well versed at getting up at the crack of can't see the sun, and ski till 7:30 or 8. then go out again at about 7 that night. My parents bought a 1980 MC, blue stars and stripes, and we were major weekend warriors, before and during when we had the houseboat.
  20. Oh yeah!! SMRR super short drive, no hotel, yeah! (Princeton would have been cool too though)
