The rule has recently been changed to %35, so the width can't be more than %35 of the length. Used to be %30. Lots more wakeboards qualify now.

I remember those days... but, when you have a private lake house, its kinda the same, before , or after labor day!

If it is possible to convert to ZO it is worth it over any version of perfect pass. Now if that means you have to swap the motor.. Probably not. I went from perfect pass to ZO this year, and it is much more consistent. It cost me about $2000. Well spent at this point.

fu_man do you have ZO and the new REV S on your Outback? If not, do whatever you can to get it... if you can get it w/o swapping motors.. The boat is skiing much better, and I know that even though its dated, I have a tournament pull.. maybe just not a tournament wake. I freshened up the interior this year too, with (some) new skins. Its a great looking, and skiing boat.. Did I just answer my own question? Naw, cuz I'm a Man.

uhh.. I'm interested in a boat... not another wife.. my opinion of marriage has soured quite a bit. I do have to sell my boat first, so if it sells, then I'll be ready to rock.

This thread is on fire tonight.. geez I was just kicking around a thought! Horton' s trying to sell me his prostar! I think we all need to calm down. Including me! While it's true there is nothing wrong with wanting something new, if my current boat isn't holding me back, I've spent 30+k to just make me feel good, but not ski better, and that doesn't fly ultimately for me. The verdict is still out. I could chance it on ski it again, and see if my boat sells... I used to live in a regular subdivision house... I put my house on the market, and it sold in a week. Fate. I have lived on a private lake for over a decade. One of the greatest accomplishments of my life.

Same as eveone else wants... but.. heres whats funny.. plenty of sets behind the new Nautique... its not the boat I've done the best behind.

The wakes at 28mph are probably %25 better than my boat. But again, I don't just kill it every time I get behind one.. good sets, and bad sets, just like we all have.

Cool.. but.. not sure getting a 18 has any advantages over a 45k 16 or so.

So.. I've been skiing better than ever this summer. My current boat has the latest ZO rev S. The boat is 10 years old, and the boat record is 3@38 off. I have skiied really well behind a newer Mastercraft, and thinking about selling and making the switch. It would cost me about 30k. In my post divorce world, I will have to finance this. The thing is, I am not skiing better behind the MC than I am on practice behind my boat so... maybe wouldn't help me that much? On the contrary... am I holding myself back by skiing behind an older boat? If i always had a newer boat to ski behind, would make even more improvements? Im looking at 2014 and above Mastercrafts in the 40k to 55k range.

The most unique ski in the thread... I'm ripping it up this summer. New PB 3@30mph.. it's been 20 years the last time I PB'd!!

Same... 3@30mph behind my Moomba, 3@30mph behind a 2018 Mastercraft... I still want a newer Mastercraft!

Tricks under the lights at Americas Cup was the coolest thing I'd seen in years. The spray on the flips was really impressive. Anyone got any photos of this? Also THOUSANDS of spectators was very good!

If you ski tournaments, you need the new single puck set up... the pull is different, and better. Not as harsh. Softer in the turn.
