People do buy swim passes to the pool and travel great distances to swim at beaches. No swimming at last 4 Nationals.

Hmmm another no swimming site I suppose. Guess I will let my kids entertain themselves country style so don't come crying or yelling at my kids when we are just trying to have a good time without swimming. @Joemac Luke is really looking forward to playing with Joseph.....hope they have a trampoline, heard about that, I know you had to laugh, I did.

When reading the fin length as per Goode website. Will a regular digital caliper read the same as the Goode Slot Fin caliper? Is there a conversion?

@boarditup said it best about both leagues. The AWSA has too many rules for clubs to host class C tournament. AWSA criteria for judge or driver ratings for an amateur event.......LOL GET REAL AWSA THERE IS YOUR BALL AND CHAIN. Save your rules for big events National, Regionals, State etc. The INT is nothing more than insurance cooler for that guy in Washington, but it does have the right stuff for growth, fun and promotion.

@Bruce_Butterfield very good points, especially demo/coaching lake, Top few make it Nationals and more of a head to head format. I tell my kids you have to make top 10 or we don't go. There is no promotion outside our ski community. The secret squirrel magazine which is viewed as a benefit is not promotion. Open up the Senior judge monopoly so more people can volunteer. To dam many promo boats required costing everybody money. Boring awards, need to do that at the lake then stick a fork in it is done. Reward the winners with media promotion. Big party afterwards, that will make people stay. We need more athlete's running the AWSA like Krista.

What is the goal of Nationals? 17. Include free coaching from livetoski's coach.

To be successful they need to. 1. Show case speed skiing & knee boarding. 2. Keep the benefit magazine a secret. 3. Double the rule book and throw out the gates. 4. Mirror Ice skating. 5. Provide Hotel rooms for everybody. 6. 2 nights of 70 and older under the lights. 7. Change pro events to 5 am. 8. Awards need to be longer more talk. 9. Enforce the no swim rule. 10. Keep no dance or party rule at awards. 11. Need more promo boats. 12. Redefined goals of the president are, Off site during Nationals & writing more interesting articles. 13. Make more hoops to get judge ratings. 14. More rules for class C tourneys. 15. Make it so everybody qualifies and wins a trophy. 16. Make the podium all the same level. This should take us to the next level.

@fu_man my kids used 66 inch Goode skies till they learned to cross the wake in stack position. Until they look good behind the boat nothing else matters.

@Horton adding to Nationals by reducing qualifier is a temporary fix, real growth comes from growth in members. To do that you need. More public access. More class C tournaments Eliminate all the hoops for average Joe or club to host class C tournaments Recolonize what kids are interested in PRO SKIERS!!! Swimming shall be allowed at all sites AWSA shall host nationals with all employees officiating Awards need to be fun for all. Un-group from other disciplines and get better Insurance.
