  1. Maybe this will open the door for 3.5L Ecoboost Ford Engine. That would be a monster in a ski boat.
  2. @skoot1123 you think you can post your sketch of your anchor system.
  3. I want to add ball valves on the block drain plugs were the knock sensors go. If I put a tee there, with the knock sensor on one end and the ball valve on the other, will the sensor still work properly?
  4. @skoot1123, I have seen courses with each row of balls, gates and turn ball on their own line so you have to winch down 10 rows counting gates and 55s. interested to see your setup.
  5. I just received my Promotion in the mail. Looks and feels very well built. I my try it tonight, even though the water is still not quit cold enough for the drysuit. I did buy last years suit, and saved $140, although it looks like they only have XL and XS left.
  6. I want an Ecoboost out of a F150 and Zero Off, 400ft-lbs of torque at 1500RPM, sign me up
  7. When my son was in sports, off at college now, I found other parents to share the load. They would take him to practice and I would pick him and the other kids up. This would give me a 2 hour window to get some sets in. My daughter is in gymnastics currently, practices 3 days a week for 2.5 hours, 4:00 to 6:30 I'll either take her and do some cardio while I wait then we both go skiing, (her skiing suffers a little if she goes real hard at gymnastics) or I'll drop her off my wife will pick her up while I go skiing. Our family dinners during the week suffer but we have all winter to make that time up...
  8. To much reading in this post, so sorry if this was already posted. Gate video should be like collage football review. If it can be done before the skier goes then so be it, if not than you continue on as normal and they lose the opportunity to review it. This may even help the skier, lets say I am pretty sure I missed the gate, instead of waiting for the boat timer I go as soon as I drop and they shorten the rope, this would give the video guys little to no time to pull my gates.
  9. why do people take video in portrait mode? it drives me crazy
  10. @Chef23 keep her hips moving through the turn, also she tends to pull a little long, get her to trust turning early and the hesitation might go away. Also she shares that ski with her older sister, and they are opposite feet forward, she my need her own ski.
  11. I would say no wing, I don't agree with @MrJones on max speed and 28' off comment though. I'm guessing a 63.5" ski is still quite large for the 7 year old, so you may need one before she gets to 30mph 15' off.
  12. I think I've seen her ski, she tends to drop her hips back at the finish of the turn, fix that and you will likely fix the hesitation
  13. also why is it at .05 seconds Nate in camera 1 and 3 is already in the white wash off the second wake but in view 4 he is just getting to the right hand gate ball. Makes me think that maybe we didn't land on the moon...
  14. even if you found a safer / taller marker, what do you do about the displacement caused by the boat. In this example it kind of looks like a miss, but could't the buoy have been displaced by the boat causing it to look like a miss, maybe if the buoy was in it's "original" position it would have been viewed as a make. Seems to me there should be some technology like GPS or survey equipment that could be used as the actual call of a miss or make instead of a floating ball that can get displaced, use the ball as a reference point for the skier.
  15. I agree with @bogboy, just want to add if you swim and look forward to much you will arch your back and that may cause your back muscles to become tight, you want to keep your chin down and look at the bottom of the pool
  16. plus about $20 for shipping for the case of 4 gallons
  17. here is one fixed on windshield in the wide field of view, -32 off, sorry in advance of the crappy skiing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WG8qpWySReg
  18. here is a video long line, shoot in narrow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyBUuVTbK3E
  19. here is a video of GoPro 2 shot in narrow. it slowed down to 3/4 speed, goes from -28 to -39
  20. @ Skoot I was thinking more like a chemical / natural organism that you can put in the lake that will eat the muck like this: https://sancoind.com/store/p-7-natural-pond-cleaner.aspx Just wondering if anybody had experience with something like this.
  21. A little off topic but not much, is any-buddy using anything to get rid of the muck at the bottom of the lake, if so what? The muck is a food source for the weeds / algea, reducing the food source should reduce the plant growth, right?
  22. @ShaneH what makes it un-skable?
