  1. I have both and I like the silver liners more. They're more comfy for me.
  2. What comes after 43off, just curious.
  3. I am having a problem with getting my hips to the handle on my off-side turn. I try to get my hips up in the pre-turn but they almost always fall behind as I head towards the wake. I don't feel I have this problem as bad on my on-side. I'm trying to stay stacked but keep failing, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Don't have any video at this point. Any tips to help? - thank you. I free-skied today and tried to focus on this but made little progress.
  4. @T-fromTO south east idaho. It's been a really mild winter. I have been able to see my lawn most of the winter; it's been strange. One day it will be in the 60's or 70's and the next day it will be snowing. That just comes with the territory. All of the snow melted by late this afternoon though.
  5. Only once, I woke up to three inches of snow today.
  6. @MarcusBrown will you be doing any clinics in Idaho or Utah this year?
  7. @303Skier have you seen anyone with the new HO system? It sounds like they have worked out the bugs. @Ajskier I had the same concern when I purchased my reflex system w/r-style rear binder. I also wanted a 2 feet in 2 feet out release system; due to the fact, I also twisted my knee during an OTF when my front foot stayed in (prior to the buying the reflex). But with all of the bad news with the HO system I didn't want to chance them. I ended up buying the Reflex. Not trying to sway you to Reflex, I'm just telling you my story. I would try to get advice from someone using the new HO system. It seems to me they have fixed some of the major problems. I also looked into the FM Quattro's, which seems like a great system, but didn't like that I would have to drill addition inserts into my ski. Not that there is anything wrong with adding inserts, I just didn't want to drill in my new ski. Also I didn't like that they are aided by velcro under the bindings.
  8. @Ajskier I demoed a 2010 version of the ho forms and really liked them but did not buy them due to all of the negative feedback at the time. The newer version has fixed the issues with the older ones. So I would probably purchase a set of them now. But, I ended up going with reflex instead and am really enjoying them.
  9. Gatorade lids? Now I really want to see some pictures!
  10. @eleeski could you post some pics of your bindings. I am having a hard time understanding how your bindings work. Are they like the FM bindings?
  11. I was surprised by the suggestions on how to cheat the airport on the weight of your bags. “2. Be a Scale Swindler” and “5. Pull a Switcheroo” on page 30.
  12. I would consider the r-style to be somewhere in between a rtp and a boot. in the beginning I had to add an extra bungee at the top of the shell to make my foot feel more secure, but have since removed it and have began to enjoy a little less secure rear boot
  13. I was in double radar boots, vectors or primes, I didn't like the r-style at first but after a little time I really got to loving them. I had to do a double boot at first. Because, I would always blow my heal out of the rtp during the turn; however, I would like to give the rtp another shot.
  14. I was filling the pre gates and boat guides, I filled them around 8.5". Probably let a little air when they are installed Thank you all
  15. i actually ment to post that on the "simple water injection" thread
  16. Modified Ed's design just a little bit with an air compressor attachment, it took just under a minute to fill a buoy with water and air. I added a guage also, to make sure I didn't blow up the sprayer with to much compression. I didn't need it however, because I just turned down the compression on the air compressor itself. I keep about 50lbs of air in the sprayer while I filled the buoys.
  17. thank you. I filled them just shy of nine, thinking it was nine. They just look bigger than I remember.
  18. I think it's good thing to be able to lift your rear heal a little.
  19. What is the diameter of a properly filled buoy?
  20. Have you tried a different size, what is your weight and how tall are you?
