I bought an eagle drysuit last month. Love it! I was worried about the drag from all the talk I read about drag with drysuits, but I hardly even noticed a difference when I blead out the air. Works great and looks great! I bought the black and white, didn't think about staining though. Seals on ankles were a little tight at first. Great suit! I also noticed that it seemed like the suit breathed very well.

How about getting a sign to say "no wakeboarding", to go along with the "no jet skiing" sign on the bridge. If you need any help for funds for some turn balls I am willing to pitch in. Just let me know.

Could someone please explain what changing the fins depth and front to back location changes. As in if I move the fin forward this happens or if I deepen or raise the fin this happens. I removed my wing, but I assume the wing is just to slow the ski down durring the edge change. I removed the wing because I want to learn how to slow the ski down without it. I have been skiing for one year.

Whats the easiest system to drive with zo or classic, most of my drivers are newer to the course (getting better). It seems my boat pulls hot at first and then settles down. I would purchase the zo update if it is eaiser to drive with. I guess if it's harder to drive with that is probably the only reason I wouldn't purchase it. Also with classic call I still use the magnet setup at only the entrance gates?

@horton why did you suggest classic over stargazer? I had stargazer installed on my boat when I purchased it, what are the benefits to running classic?

I noticed a huge difference in the stiffness when I skiied my older ski with the radar bindings instead of my reflex bindings. Huge difference in stiffness, the reflex bindings seem to respond a lot faster to me.

@mylemsky Did you just punch holes in the rear liner and did you do anything to reinforce the holes? Is that a bungee type lace?

@Rup I have the 2011 reflex bindings also, will you post a pic after you cut the cuff down. I have heard about that problem with the high cuff, I am just hesitant to cut it down.

I have the r style rear, I added a bungee to make it a little more secure. It is a half boot fixed to the ski. I thought about running a strada boot on the back, but I thought as thick as the strada is you wouldn't be able to get the spacing very tight between the front and back boot. I would think that the toe of the strada boot would block the release of the front boot from working properly. I have gotten to where I really like the r style on the rear, but would be curious to try a strada if possible if I could keep the distance close. @Bruce55 how close were you able to mount the rear boot to the front boot when you had the strada on back?

everytime i push the reset button it starts timing instantly (most of the time). So i just push it when i get to the gates.

My timer is constantly being set off any time I hit choppy water, is this normal?

I started skiing for the first time July 2010. I use to be a wake boarder, and my bro-in-law has always skied (open water). I told him about a slalom clinic nearby and he was all for it. He talked me into going, so I started to ski to try to prepare for the clinic. So I bought a radar theory and then participated in the clinic. After that I spent the fall skiing in open water behind a i/o. I loved the clinic and the course so much it drove me to buy a inboard last winter, a Moomba outback. This year I've been skiing a 1 to 3 times a week, half the time in a course. I purchased a new ski, strada w/reflex. I ran the course at 30mph at 15off early in summer, very ugly though no technique at all. Now I am starting to get through the course at 32mph at 15off, I am just trying to work on form and technique. I'm trying to think for the long run, by getting my technique down and stop muscling my way through the course. I am hooked, I would have never have guessed I would be so addicted to the sport, I am constantly thinking about it. My success in the course is getting consistent and I feel the technique and my ability is getting better. I'm loving it.

I am going to order a drysuit in the next couple of weeks and I am looking for recommendations. I have been looking at the baggy eagle front zip, but the websites say they have no warranty. Is this normal for a $400 drysuit to have no warranty? I am looking for a baggy drysuit so I can layer clothing, it gets cold in Idaho.

My wifes uncle broke his ribs 3 or 4 years ago freeskiing without a life jacket. I seperated my lower rib 3 weeks ago free skiing(wearing a life jacket).

I don't leave my boot connected, I store my binding unclamped. I would think its just less wear and tear undoing and redoing the binding up all the time. Probably no big deal to leave them done up though.
