  1. If you aren’t skiing the course you do not need the Ski Nautique.
  2. What sportsbook put out odds for water skiing? I have never heard of being able to bet on our sport.... and you can bet on almost anything
  3. Personally I’m not a fan of the new response. I’ve skied 3 or 4 of them never once felt the wake was that good. One of them (i have to assume this issue has been fixed, but this alone would keep me from ever buying one) started ITSELF at a tournament when it was on a lift. No one in or around the boat. Happened twice in one day. Go prostar or a year old 200
  4. @gregy all of the other names have a length of the ban, my guess is they are still deciding how long the ban should be
  5. Why doesn’t every boat & car have dual side fill? I’ve never understood that, it can’t be that expensive to add
  6. a bunch of people are about to tell you that’s low for that old of a boat but it depends on how it was maintained. If it was kept up with well that’s nothing to worry about. If it’s been spotty I wouldn’t touch it
  7. @Steven_Haines Bryant Boats?
  8. & if that opportunity ever presents itself, would there be any reason USAWS couldn’t rejoin?
  9. @skierjp if Nautiques are pointing to the Bimini, heated seats, a screen, and flake as to why the boat is $40,000 more (I get the engine but that does not cost anywhere close to $40,000) that’s just ricdiculous. Everything you mentioned (minus the engine) MIGHT cost $15K on a build sheet
  10. if someone has the money to spend an extra $40K on that boat over one of the others good for them, but I’ve skied the new Nautique, it’s a fine boat nice pull but it didn’t feel any nicer than a 200...
  11. Past years its been every weekend... But between our lake deciding not to host tournaments anymore, the travel time it takes to get to other sites, and just doing other things I think ill be lucky if I make it to 3 this year
  12. You can't look at boat prices and say people don't take it too seriously
  13. I have a good buddy who works at the local MC dealer. Told me if you walked in & wanted a base prostar & offered them in the neighborhood of $65K they would probably take it. I highly doubt Nautique will come from $130K down near $65K for a base Nautique. If they will then the $130K sticker is insanity (as if it isn’t already)
  14. Nate also has the advantage of 30 years of technique evolution. A lot of stuff that is taught today was not taught 30 years ago
  15. +1 for Swerve. Mike is great to ski with & a great coach, kind of a short setup but the water skis great
  16. Only electric ski boat I’ve ever heard of is the electric Nautique...
  17. There has to be some risk having that much battery on water...
  18. The cleats are nearly $500.... the CLEATS. I understand it’s a free market & they can charge whatever the please but my god
  19. Yeah I’m sure that’s going to fool a lot of people who have never heard of the “Ski” Nautique 200... @oldjeep what kind of material is your tower made of? Most of these towers are made of extruded aluminum (you have a Malibu, i know for a fact yours is made of that), your tower is well over 100 pounds
  20. Am I the only one who doesn’t buy that tower only weighs 100 pounds??
  21. Was the old 200 rated for 9 passengers? I couldn’t imagine having more than 3 plus a skier in an old 200
  22. The website says totally new hull... The pro skiers who are posting about it says “exact same as the 200 just a new interior”... someone is confused. Also, is the motor box made of fiberglass where it isn’t sea deck?
